Feinstein Casts More Doubt on Kavanaugh's Accuser Showing Up on Thursday

If you feel like you’re getting the runaround, it’s probably because you are.

According to Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has told him that she’s not sure whether or not Christine Blasey Ford will even show up to give her testimony during the hearings regarding Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual assault of her on Thursday.

Feinstein has been pushing the narrative that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Ford, but getting Ford to come forward and testify against Kavanaugh has been akin to herding cats. Despite Republican’s best efforts to move this along, Democrats and Ford have been difficult, to say the least.

In fact, as Streiff pointed out, excuses to not show up have already been pouring out from Ford’s legal team, and it’s highly possible that Feinstein is expressing doubt that she’ll be there, not just expressing a lack of knowledge.

As I’ve said before, it’s very likely that Kavanaugh is innocent of every charge of sexual assault thrown against him. When even the people meant to discredit Kavanaugh confess they’ve never heard a bad story about him, and there are serious gaps in the story, then no one should be surprised when it becomes highly suspect that this is a lie meant for another purpose.

My prediction is that Ford is not going to show up at all. The point isn’t that Democrats think Kavanaugh is a sexual assaulter, as they likely don’t think he is either. The point is likely running out the clock until midterms when the Democrats have a better chance of putting someone in that they want.
