We knew it would happen, but that does not make it any less enjoyable! Yes, the press are in all the various moods associated with grief and loss – which goes far to illustrate the problems with the press. Donald Trump’s victory has them feeling sad, and angry, and in denial, and all of the other emotions attached to feeling bereft. Because they are unbiased and do not choose sides politically, you understand.
This can only manifest if the press corps was in complete support and worked on behalf of one candidate; and make no hesitation in thinking – they were ALL IN for Kamala. This means that not only are they feeling a sense of loss, but they are currently facing a harsh reality. This landslide win for the Republicans means the press influence was minimal and many disregarded their reporting.
One of just numerous examples of the failed press narratives is seen in Florida: For the first time in memory Miami-Dade county went to the GOP. Along with that, Puerto Rican strongholds in the Orlando area also were red Tuesday night, a complete repudiation of the effort to make the alleged offense of a comedian telling a joke the official platform of the GOP. In a manner of speaking, most voters laughed that off.
Speaking of laughing, there is plenty to be had at the expense of the press, so let loose with the frivolity!
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media malpractice and misinformation.
