There was a lot of reaction to Donald Trump’s town hall hell on CNN – with little of that reaction concerning what was said on stage. CNN is absorbing its fair share of criticism, both from the audience and from within. It has become bad enough for Anderson Cooper to come out and address the blowback. There were signs that things did not the way CNN wanted, from the network cutting the event short and including a post-show focus group that went awry.
Meanwhile, the press has been particularly busy not reporting on items, including a House investigation of the Bidens, the White House clamping down on reporters, and the broadening border crisis. Then there is a new financial story out of the Supreme Court with Elena Kagan and a breakfast ethics challenge.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
