Lie-Able Sources Podcast: Numerous Studies on the Media and Journalists Contest the Data

Your source for mainline mayhem from mainstream media.

In this episode, there are a number of ways we look at the press coming under differing forms of analysis, but there is a constant found in the mix. The journalists are clearly in a mode of reinterpreting the data to fix the problems on display — you know, rather than actually addressing the problems.

Last week, The Atlantic staged a disinformation conference, and the attendees were so hilariously known to be press prevaricators that you might think this was a how-to seminar. Gathering a group of proven liars to allegedly address fake news was bound to go off the rails, and these scammers did not disappoint.

Then we have Philip Bump looking at a poll of news consumption by party and thinks he found proof of his confirmation bias. Then there is a new study released claiming that Fox News viewers had a eureka moment after being exposed to CNN. Because…CNN is not a propaganda arm of the DNC, you understand. (Uh…huh.) Bonus: Brian Stelter was unraveled on the air by one of his guests concerning this study.

Last, is an examination of how far off the press was with some of the bold economic predictions made during the pandemic. Not surprisingly, they were completely wrong across the board.
Pop open a can, and enjoy a round of media mockery!
