The situation in Los Angeles has continued to escalate, with the LAPD and CHP now becoming prime targets for anti-ICE rioters. On Sunday, videos emerged of violent masked individuals throwing chunks of concrete onto California Highway Patrol cruisers, destroying several of them in what can only be described as attempted murder.

In other areas, law enforcement officers were assaulted while cars were set on fire. The Mexican flag being waved amid the violence has become a symbol of the "resistance." Notably, on Saturday, the LAPD rushed to put out a statement parroting the Democrat line that there had been no "incidents" and that they wouldn't cooperate with federal authorities. Yeah, that didn't work out so well.

But while the LAPD has suddenly discovered rioting is a problem, the press has continued to double down in increasingly unbelievable ways. On Sunday night, KTLA Channel 5 in Los Angeles put out the following post. See if you can spot all the different ways it misleads the public.
As chaos erupted among some protests against the multiple ICE raids in Los Angeles areas over the weekend, federal officers have begun enacting more extreme law enforcement strategies – including adding one demonstrator to the FBI’s Most Wanted list.

Notice the continued use of the word "protests" to describe what are obviously riots and the immediate blaming of "federal officers" for all of the violence. But the most astounding part of that post is the sympathetic coverage of the person pictured. KTLA describes him as a "man protesting" who is being targeted by "extreme law enforcement strategies - including adding one demonstrator to the FBI's Most Wanted list." The implication is clear.
So who is he? If you've been keeping tabs on the riots, you might recognize that motorcycle helmet. Yes, that's the same guy who was throwing large rocks through the windows of federal vehicles as they drove by. The video of that first went viral on Saturday.

Here's a bit of how his handiwork turned out, with at least one ICE agent being injured.

The rocks broke through the windshield and could have easily k*lled a border patrol agent.

If that idiot had a better arm, he might have more seriously hurt someone or worse. When he's captured, and he will be captured at some point, I don't know what specific charges the DOJ will go with, but when you try to throw heavy rocks through the windshields of vehicles zooming by, that sure seems like you're trying to kill someone.
Do the press care? Of course, not. There are truly no limits to what they'll lie and mislead about. MSNBC proved that on Monday morning.
MSNBC’s @jheil: “Governor Newsom’s right; there wasn’t anything like a riot happening on Friday or Saturday” pic.twitter.com/7IHijLPa1X

That's just simply false. The video posted above and the injuries sustained by ICE agents happened on Saturday morning. On Friday night, cars were already being set on fire in the streets. But again, there are no limits for the press' malfeasance. Human nature is to assume they'll eventually be honest about the situation, given the overwhelming amount of evidence showing they aren't telling the truth. After all, how could they keep lying in the face of possibly attempted murder being on video? But they can, and they will keep doing so.
