New footage of the terror attack in Boulder, CO, has been released showing the exact moment illegal alien Mohamed Soliman threw two Molotov cocktails onto elderly Jewish women, one of whom was a Holocaust survivor

As RedState reported, the Egyptian national had allegedly been planning the attack for over a year. Videos of Soliman screaming "end Zionists" and "free Palestine" immediately went viral, leaving no question what his motive was (unless you're the far-left Boulder PD).

With this latest video, we now know why the terrorist was shirtless in the aftermath. He caught himself on fire as he threw the Molotov cocktails at his innocent victims.

The next shoe to drop after the attack was the revelation that Soliman was an illegal immigrant. He and his family had come to the United States in 2022 and all overstayed their tourist visas. Soliman was then given work authorization under the Biden administration in 2023, which ran out weeks before he carried out his heinous attack.

In light of that, the Trump administration moved quickly to detain and deport the terrorist's family, as they presumably had no legal right to be in the United States. Not surprisingly, a federal judge quickly stopped that, claiming the possibility of irreparable harm.

With that, the full-court press is on. Left-wing immigration lawyer Eric Lee revealed on social media that it was his outfit that filed the Habeas petition, claiming that deporting Soliman's family was retribution for his crimes. He also played on emotion, noting that all five children are minors.

Not discussed in Lee's post is whether they have any right to be here in the first place. Someone's father committing a terror attack doesn't give his family magical immunity from being deported, just like anyone else who overstays a visa. This kind of weaponization of the legal system, making it impossible for elected officials to exercise even the most basic aspects of their statutory power, is going to destroy the judiciary. That this case enjoys another level of absurdity only makes it worse.

On Wednesday, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser peddled a similar line, suggesting that Soliman's family could have an asylum claim.

On what planet could Egyptian nationals who came from Kuwait, one of the safest and wealthiest countries in the Middle East, have a legitimate asylum claim? That's the kind of abuse of the system that led to Trump being elected. Americans see how insane all this is, and they want it changed. No one should be able to blatantly break immigration law, including overstaying visas for years on end while the head of the family plans a terror attack, and then claim asylum as a get-out-of-jail-free card.

It's unbelievable that Democrats have decided to go to bat over this. I now know the names of multiple family members of Soliman's family, while his Jewish victims aren't even being talked about. Where's this energy for them? But let the Trump administration try to legally deport the family members of a terrorist, and suddenly, it's eyes-wide-open for Democrats. But if they want to die on this hill, go right ahead.
