One of the most damning media scandals in recent memory is currently playing out at CBS News, and I'm not even talking about "60 Minutes" chopping up Kamala Harris' answers to protect her.
SEE: Here's What Made the 60 Minutes Interview Even Worse for Kamala Harris
This specific issue surrounds a recent interview done with race grifter and alleged antisemite Ta-Nehisi Coates. Like several others in his "field," Coates has made a lucrative living in academia and elsewhere peddling racial grievance and viciously attacking white people. He was even tapped by Marvel Comics to write "Black Panther" for several years, a job he failed miserably at for obvious reasons.
With anti-white racism usually comes antisemitism, and Coates is no exception. After visiting the West Bank, he came back to America as an apparent expert on the Palestinian situation. Naturally, that meant it was time to write a book to cash in, and that's what this CBS News interview centered on. In it, reporter Tony Dokoupil dared to ask some tough questions about Coates' framing and claims in the book, which included the idea that Israel is an "apartheid state" committing genocide.
Long story short, internal tensions exploded within CBS News, with the network's far-left newsroom accusing Dokoupil of flaunting "editorial practices" by pushing Coates for answers. Things have now reached fever-pitch with one insider telling Dokoupil he needs to "shut the **** up" after the reporter defended himself during a conference call.
"If Tony would just shut the fuck up, none of this would be happening," one insider told me.

Also, during yesterday's staff meeting, Dokoupil was asked how he would treat a Palestinian guest on set. He said he'd ask him about his politics and whether Israel should exist.… pic.twitter.com/hIz3B9sjvG
Think about what all this says about CBS News. The network is so inundated with pro-terror antisemites that it has now become a major point of contention that a reporter dared to confront Coates about many of the questionable claims and overall bias within his book. The inmates are truly running the asylum.
That's not the worst part of this, though. It has now been revealed that there was a "script" developed before the interview with Coates which included the "vetting" of questions by CBS News' "Race and Culture Department."
Keep in mind that it was the CBS News Race & Culture Unit which conducted the struggle session that Dokoupil was forced to partake in after he strayed from the pre-approved party line and dared to ask a few tough questions of Ta-Nehisi Coates https://t.co/aPCaJIA5Vj

This is not journalism. It's naked activism backed by an insane DEI apparatus that seeks to control the flow of information. The fact that CBS News even has a "Race and Culture Department" that is pre-vetting interview questions is an incredible breach of journalistic ethics. Yet, it's Dokoupil who is being accused of violating editorial standards.
Naturally, not a single mainstream press "media report" such as CNN's Brian Stelter has mentioned any of these scandals. Between this and the editing falsehoods by "60 Minutes," where a completely unrelated answer was cut and pasted to a question Harris flubbed, CBS News should not be considered a "news" network. At the very least, Republican politicians need to blackball them.
