Joe Biden Has a 'Moment' in More Ways Than One When Confronted Over His Economic Disaster

After an "unexpected" report showing the economy added 339,000 jobs, Joe Biden rushed to the first microphone he could find to tout the supposed success of "Bidenomics." Naturally, that topline number is misleading when you dig into what kinds of jobs were added (mostly government and part-time employment), but this White House doesn't do details. It just does gaslighting.

In fact, you should be thankful that the president has bestowed upon you the astronomical cost of living you are suffering because inflation is "coming down."

We've been over this many times. The reality of inflationary policies is not realized by simply quoting the current rate because inflation is cumulative. Prices on everything from groceries to rent have sky-rocketed under Biden. The fact that the rate of growth is now slowing doesn't make those actual prices go down. Rather, they are still rising, coupled with the highest interest rates in two decades making the purchase of homes nearly impossible.

It's a worst of both worlds situation. Your money is worth less and you can't grow your long-term wealth by investing in property. That is the reality of "Bidenomics." It's an economic disaster that has left Americans poorer and the future bleak.

The last thing Biden wants to do is accept that reality, though, and when he's pressed on it, he vacillates somewhere between incoherent and insincere.

There were times during that clip that I thought the president was going to pass out right at the podium. Before even getting into what he said, his health should be a major concern for any voter in 2024. The slurring of his words has become commonplace, to the point where it's mostly ignored, but the full-on freeze-up at 0:59 is a true "yikes" moment. His head starts to droop as he stares at the floor, only for him to suddenly blink as if his entire brain had just rebooted.

After partially regaining his composure, Biden goes on to claim that he thinks most Americans "know" they are "better off" financially than they were before, while continuing to blame the press for being too negative.

Again, broken record and all, but you can't lie to people about what's in their wallets. Most people are not financially better off than they were before because wages have not kept up with cost increases. Working-class Americans feel that every single time they go to the grocery store or pay their light bill. The issue with the economy is not a messaging problem. People wouldn't suddenly think it was great if CNN was just a little more far-left. Things are bad right now. Really bad, and no massaging of jobs report numbers is going to change that.

Moving past the economy, Biden's answers on other topics were no better. When pressed on the recent decision to resume construction of the border wall, he tried to have it both ways by blaming Congress.

As many have noted, it took 26 waivers of federal law for things to move forward. That was a decision made by Biden's own Department of Homeland Security and filed with the federal registry. The idea that only now, the administration has no choice but to build the wall, doesn't begin to add up.

Either the president is in charge or he's not. Biden wants to be able to trash the wall politically while benefiting from its effects practically, and he shouldn't be allowed to get away with such hypocrisy.

With that said, I'll end with yet another example of the president being completely unfit for office.

That we are expected to pretend this is all normal never ceases to amaze me. There is no chance this guy will make it through a second term. At this point, I'm not even sure he makes it to the general election. What Democrats are foisting on the nation is grotesque.
