Scorching Take: Hunter Biden Is Just a Victim Saved by Joe Biden's 'Unconditional Love'

You knew it was coming. The moment Hunter Biden pled guilty as part of a sweetheart deal from the DOJ to obscure his more serious crimes, it was just a matter of time before the fullscale gaslighting offensive began.

With that, I bring you the most scorching take yet: Hunter Biden is just a victim saved by the unconditional love of a completely innocent Joe Biden.

Congrats to Nicholas Kristof and The New York Times for beating The Washington Post to the punch.

No, no that’s not the real meaning, and to suggest that shows a level of shamelessness that is hard to fathom. Crack addictions do not produce influence-peddling schemes heavily enabled by an entire family that produces millions upon millions of dollars funneled back to said family. Are we to believe the swath of Hunter Biden’s family members who received money were really worried about saving him from his addiction? And are we to believe that Joe Biden was simply showing unconditional love when he helped fund his son’s degeneracy?

It is obvious, based on everything we know, that Hunter Biden was heavily enabled by his parents and the rest of his family for years. Do I doubt that Joe Biden loves his son? No, I don’t. But is Joe Biden’s role in his son’s downfall simply a father showing unconditional love? No, it isn’t.

As we just recently learned, hours after shaking down a Chinese businessman with Joe Biden allegedly in the room, Hunter Biden was driving his dad’s Corvette around his father’s Delaware property. Does that sound like a situation where tough, unconditional love is being doled out? Or does it sound like parents turning a blind eye, possibly because they were benefiting financially?

Never mind the entire Biden family, including Joe and Jill, have gone along with disowning their own granddaughter in order to support their son’s deranged feud with the woman he got pregnant. Does that scream “unconditional love” to you? Or does it again show a family deeply invested in their own interests, willing to do just about anything to preserve them?

Regardless, the idea that Hunter Biden’s criminal activity was all caused by addiction is farcical. He was making questionable foreign deals going back to his father’s days in the Obama administration. He was not strung out on crack 24 hours a day throughout that entire period, nor were his business partners (who included James Biden, the president’s brother).

But even if he were, since when is addiction an excuse for criminal activity? How many black people in the inner cities or white people in rural counties get sweetheart deals from the DOJ because they were doing crack alongside their misdeeds? Heck, drug use is usually an escalator when it comes to the gun crime that Hunter Biden committed. Instead, the president’s degenerate son got pre-trial diversion.

Kristof wasn’t done, though, because not only is Hunter Biden a victim, but Joe Biden is a hero who needs to take his relationship with his son and turn it into national policy.

How’s that nationwide push to cure cancer going? Has anyone bothered to even check up on that promise from Joe Biden? Given its failed miserable (because it was also disgusting pandering using the suffering of others for political gain), isn’t Kristof making the opposite point he thinks he’s making?

But to turn Biden’s troubled relationship with his son into a positive that needs to be mainstreamed across the nation is just laughable. I’m surprised Kristof was able to write his article with a straight face. Perhaps he didn’t, and we are all just being played.
