The House hearing on the weaponization of the FBI is not going well for Democrats. Part of that is the fact that they are on the wrong side of the issue. The other part of it is that House Democrats have gotten fat and lazy, having been lulled into a sense of entitlement throughout Nancy Pelosi’s tenure years, and refuse to do basic research before popping off. They don’t control the gavels anymore, though, and that’s leading to some incredible exchanges.

Enter Marcus Allen, an FBI whistleblower who has come forward to share expose the retaliation waged against him after he exposed the ongoing politicization of the bureau. RedState did a full write-up of the agent’s accusations, which you can read by clicking here.

During the hearing on Thursday, Rep. Linda Sanchez decided to accuse Allen of making a controversial tweet about Nancy Pelosi relating to January 6th. There was just one big problem: It wasn’t his Twitter account. Thus, we got this parodic back and forth in which Sanchez thoroughly beclowned herself.

SANCHEZ: Mr. Allen, have you ever used Twitter, yes or no?

ALLEN: I have utilized Twitter, yes mam

SANCHEZ: And is your account @marcusa97050645?

ALLEN: That is absolutely not my account

SANCHEZ: Okay, that’s not your account, well December 5th, 2022, an account under the name Marcus Allen

ALLEN: That is not my account man

SANCHEZ: You haven’t let me finish the question, sir, you haven’t let me finish the question, and the time is mine. On December 5th, 2022, an account under the name of Marcus Allen retweeted a tweet that said quote, “Nancy Pelosi staged January 6th, retweet if you agree,” end quote. Do you agree with that statement, yes or no?

ALLEN: That is, I don’t, no mam that’s not my account at all, I have no idea…

SANCHEZ: I’m asking whether you agree with that statement, yes or no.

ALLEN: Can you please rephrase the statement?

SANCHEZ: Do you believe that Nancy Pelosi, do you agree with this statement that this person tweeted that Nancy Pelosi staged January 6th? Yes or no.

ALLEN: I don’t, no.

“DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS RANDOM ACCOUNT THAT RETWEETED SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE ELSE SAID SAID THAT YOU DIDN’T SAY OR RETWEET?!”

Is this really the best America has to offer? Are there no better people in the state of California to represent that district than Sanchez? I find that hard to believe.

It’s just pathetic to see a Democrat find another way to shoehorn January 6th into a completely unrelated discussion. Is there anything else these people care about? There was a time when liberals were actually skeptical of the FBI. Now, they attack a man for blowing the whistle on obvious politicization, politicization, mind you, that was just further revealed by the DOJ’s own special counsel on the matter.

Last I checked, Marcus Allen is probably one of the most common names in the United States. Yet, Sanchez thought she was a super sleuth by finding some probable bot account with a long string of numbers retweeting something under a name that hundreds (and possibly thousands) of other Twitter accounts share. It’s just laughable.

Sanchez wasn’t done destroying her credibility, though. She also tried to insinuate that Allen was disloyal to his country. That led to her getting absolutely owned in response.

Rep. Matt Gaetz gave Allen a chance to respond to the slander, at which point he confirmed that he had served two tours in Iraq and had previously held a security clearance for 20 years with no issues. The sheer hubris it takes to attack a guy like that and accuse him of essentially being treasonous just because he is exposing FBI malfeasance is hard to fathom.

The Democrat Party is a ship lost at sea. It stands for absolutely nothing anymore. Those who hail from it can’t even hang their hats on being anti-war or anti-government abuse anymore. Actual liberals have been replaced by far-left apparatchiks like Sanchez, who are so vapid that they’ll accuse a multi-tour combat veteran of being disloyal to his country for daring to speak against the deep state’s antics. It’s a sad state of affairs.
