U.S. Department of Energy Drops Bombshell, New Intelligence Shows Lab Leak Most Likely COVID-19 Origin

For years, COVID-19 information was ruthlessly censored on social media. Countless accounts were banned under the guise of “misinformation” for merely asking questions about subjects like mask efficacy and the origins of the virus.

Meanwhile, Biden administration officials would go on national television to denounce and demean anyone who stepped outside of the official narrative. Dr. Anthony Fauci proclaimed numerous times that COVID-19 was of natural origin, having originated in a wet market in Wuhan, China. Even as evidence began to surface that said otherwise, he still toed that line, receiving a thank you email from one of the financiers of the gain-of-function research going on there.

Apparently, not even the Biden administration can keep the truth hidden any longer, though. According to a new disclosure from the US Department of Energy that cites new intelligence, the lab leak theory is not just back in play but has been determined to be the “most likely” explanation.

The U.S. Energy Department has concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak, according to a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.

The shift by the Energy Department, which previously was undecided on how the virus emerged, is noted in an update to a 2021 document by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’s office.

The new report highlights how different parts of the intelligence community have arrived at disparate judgments about the pandemic’s origin. The Energy Department now joins the Federal Bureau of Investigation in saying the virus likely spread via a mishap at a Chinese laboratory.

The US Energy Department has extensive investigation capabilities and powers, so while it might seem odd that it is leading this charge, that was the agency that apparently uncovered the new information. It can’t be understated how strong the determination of “most likely” is in this context. The US government, at least under Joe Biden, is never going to directly accuse China of leaking the virus, but the intelligence provided using such strong language is essentially definitive.

In other words, the administration almost certainly knows this came from a lab, and they are willing to admit it now that the dust has settled. Either that or this latest intelligence was going to leak at some point and they wanted to get out in front of it.

Are we to believe there wasn’t ample evidence back in late 2021 that the lab leak theory was true when Fauci was calling it a crazy conspiracy theory and fluffing China’s supposed cooperation? Color me extremely skeptical. I’d also like to know why two of the 18 intelligence agencies (of which the DOE is one) still believe the virus arose via natural transmission. What exactly are they looking at?

Naturally, there will be no apologies from the arrogant Biden officials and their media allies who sought to punish those who told the truth. How many “fact-checks” occurred dismissing the lab leak theory as a right-wing creation? The answer is too many to count. Never mind the propaganda boon China got from such obfuscations. Worse, those obfuscations were made for purely political reasons. Never forget.
