As RedState has been covering extensively, Hunter Biden’s emails have laid out more evidence of influence peddling and corruption among Joe Biden and his son. Former denials have been blown up as it appears certain that the former VP was well aware of what his son was doing. The latest email drop even asserts that Joe Biden was getting monetary kickbacks. To say this is a big scandal is an understatement, regardless of whether the media want to cover it or not.
Meanwhile, another part of this was that the FBI has supposedly had this information since last year. Now, we know they are investigating, but it’s for the most ridiculous, yet predictable reason you could imagine.
Instead of looking into whether laws were broken by the corruption of Joe and Hunter Biden, the FBI is hot on the case of whether the emails are “Russian misinformation.”
Fox is saying the FBI is investigating the Hunter Biden emails! I cheered. Then they said they are investigating WHETHER THEY CAME FROM RUSSIA! Disband the FBI. This is ABHORRENT. 😡

So this has been confirmed now by multiple sources and of course instead of investigating the Biden's they are pushing claims it was foreign intelligence operation

The FBI has been setting this up for a while. All of Director Christopher Wray’s public testimonies since the beginning of the year have seen him citing Russia as a primary player in interfering with the coming election. To be clear, in this case, we there is no evidence whatsoever, and plenty to the contrary, that the Hunter Biden emails are authentic and spell out corrupt, possibly criminal behavior.
Yet, the FBI has sat on the documents for almost a year, seemingly taken no action at all to get to the bottom of what happened. Throughout the impeachment insanity, the FBI knew what had really happened and that the president’s requests were not in fact illegitimate. Still, nothing was done. Now, the same FBI wants to play the “Russia” card to try to discredit a major story that could severely harm Joe Biden. That’s not a coincidence.
Some on the right are to blame for this as well. To be frank, a lot of conservatives can’t think past the next five minutes. To often, commentators, writers, and analysts rush to swallow whatever ridiculous premise is placed out there by the left in an effort to seem “serious.” That’s how you get all the virtue signaling last night about a personal text between Joe and Hunter Biden without any care for overall point, which is that it proves the emails are real.
Further, it’s how you get stupidity like QAnon, who no one outside of political Twitter gives two craps about, being elevated to the point of the President getting harassed about it. The same point applies to the “alt-right,” a ridiculous phrase that no one on the real right should have ever been part of mainstreaming.
The factual evidence surrounding Russia’s actions was never based in enough fact to elicit the level of hysteria we have had to endure the last four years. That’s not to say they aren’t adversaries or that they don’t try to sow discord, but the idea that Putin was hiding under every bed is how you get the stupidity we are currently seeing.
Regardless, if the FBI is found to have sat on this Hunter Biden stuff while furiously spreading narratives about Russia to hurt Trump, Wray should be fired immediately. Actually, that probably should have happened long ago.
