It’s been a trying few days, with most of the news being dominated by Wuhan coronavirus. But there is still a 2020 presidential campaign going on and I’m assured that Joe Biden is still part of it.
On that note, the former Vice President decided to try to live stream a campaign event. Supposedly, he’d take questions, spew some partisan talking points, and generally tell people how he’s behind every bill ever passed (except the 90’s crime bill, he’s disowned that one). Simple enough, right?
Well, it’s a lot more difficult for geriatrics showing signs of senility.
In a bizarre, meandering livestream put on by Joe Biden's campaign today, he forgets what year it is and when, if he doesn't lose, he would be in office.

Yeah, I’m thinking they won’t be doing too many more of these. Biden’s campaign team rushed to make excuses, claiming that Joe is “pioneering” a new way to campaign.
Are we seriously gonna do this?!
Biden is trying to pioneer a road literally *never* traveled: campaigning for president at a time when a pandemic has shut down everything we know campaigning to be. And your headline whacks him for some minor technical glitches?

No one has ever live streamed before Biden, you guys. He’s just a regular trailblazer and this is really, really difficult work. I mean, sitting in one spot and not forgetting your name is tough stuff.
Biden is simply not up to this. The Wuhan flu has given him a slight reprieve, although he’s still managing to screw that up. But eventually, the campaign trail will be fully open again during the most important late summer and fall months. He won’t be able to just give five minute teleprompter speeches forever and no amount of obfuscating by the press will be able to hide Biden’s condition.
