Last night, we got word of what articles of impeachment the Democrats will be drafting. You’ll want to sit down for this because of the sheer shock you are about to experience, but the very things they’ve been saying definitively happened aren’t even being included.
BREAKING: House Dems expected to unveil two articles of impeachment against Trump — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, per multiple leadership sources and members close with the investigation.
Presser tomorrow. Markup likely Thursday.

Notice what’s missing? No bribery or extortion. Keep in mind, everyone from Nancy Pelosi, to Adam Schiff, to every major liberal news network has proclaimed for the last two months that bribery wasn’t just a possibility, but that it was clearly proven. Democrats even focused grouped the term and decided it was the best one to go with originally. Now, in the 11th hour, they’ve punted on that charge altogether (and the only one clearly spelt out in the Constitution as impeachable), instead going with the much more nebulous “abuse of power.”
Heck, just last week, the Democrats had three partisan “legal experts” spend an entire day proclaiming with certainty that Trump had committed bribery and criminal offenses.
Made 3 legal scholars swear up and down it was bribery on national TV and then…..say "nah we're good." Lol

While the media is desperately trying to spin this as the “smart play” (even after they reported for months that bribery occurred), the truth is that this is a full-scale retreat. “Abuse of power” and “obstruction” are vague, nothing charges which will be easily refuted in the Senate. Every President abuses their power by the ridiculous standards being put forth. It was certainly an abuse of power for Barack Obama to promise the Russians more flexibility after the election, yet I don’t remember the impeachment proceedings.
Pelosi and her caucus can’t say they weren’t warned. Anyone with a brain saw this coming a mile away. It was supposed to be “different” this time, but it’s not. The talking heads once again had no idea what they were talking about.
The American people hate political impeachment proceedings and now Democrats will pay the price for waging one. Trump’s poll numbers are rising and support for impeachment continues to drop. This has been a disaster for the left and their only saving grace is that it may be over soon enough to be forgotten by the 2020 election.
