Two big stories have been making headlines in recent days: the woke mind virus that has infected the taxpayer-funded Smithsonian Institution, the world’s largest museum, and the complete humiliation in the Senate on Wednesday of former Chief Medical Advisor to the President, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The two narratives actually intersect as we take a look at the museum’s gushing displays of the thoroughly disgraced doctor and their fawning coverage of him. This despite the fact that he ruined countless lives with his misinformation and his draconian recommendations during the COVID pandemic. In 2021, even as he was encouraging mass lockdowns and silly science like wearing masks 24-7, the Smithsonian gave him their Great Americans Medal because he was just oh so, well, great.

Fast forward to today, however, and they’re still idolizing him with prose like this accompanying heroic photos of the god-like doc. He was so amazingly awesome that he even threw the first pitch of the pandemic:
"As a deadly pandemic ravaged the nation, major sports leagues found themselves at the center of a debate over 'reopening' the country," a placard dedicated to Fauci says.
"Amidst a cacophony of misinformation and denial, advice from Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading epidemiologist, urged leagues to make decisions about resuming play 'based on scientific evidence and public health judgment,'" it continues. "When baseball became the first league to retake the field, Fauci threw the ceremonial opening pitch—wearing a facemask in a stadium empty of fans."
“Amidst a cacophony of misinformation and denial,” they write. And where exactly did much of that come from, Smithsonian?
To me, that moment in July of 2020 sums up his entire COVID record: he was wearing a mask that everyone with a brain knew was not even slightly effective, he was outdoors standing nowhere near anyone, so his chances of contracting the Wuhan Flu were essentially nil anyway, there were no fans because of disastrous lockdown policies that he championed behind closed doors, and to top it off, the pitch was so horrifically inept that a toddler could have done better.

To commemorate that unbelievable Fauci Fail, the museum has on display the cap and jersey he wore that day. Of course, they don’t have the original mask because, wait for it… somebody might catch COVID from it.

House Republicans Expose Smithsonian's Electrifying Allegation Against Ben Franklin
Meanwhile, as we reported, the Smithsonian has exhibits theorizing (without a shred of evidence) that Founding Father Benjamin Franklin electrocuted slaves, pushed a “toolkit” that linked politeness with “white supremacy culture," theorized that Mickey Mouse was racist, and that the museum was “intentionally withholding and subverting” the real American story.
All that’s bad — but after Fauci’s epic face plant Wednesday, these tributes to the fame-obsessed doctor might be some of the most nauseating displays.
