Eric Trump Shares the Quote That Should Haunt Every TDS-Riddled Prosecutor in the Country

It seemed in the moment like it could have been the end of Donald Trump’s political career. He had been defeated by Joe Biden in the (still) heavily disputed 2020 presidential election, then-Attorney General Merrick Garland had turned the Department of Justice into a partisan war machine with its main goal of convicting Trump for something — anything — financial institutions were debanking his company, New York Attorney General Letitia James had won a court settlement of $300+ million against the Trump Organization for allegedly inflating his real estate assets…

In short, things didn’t look good for him.

Then, in May 2024, a New York jury convicted him of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the Stormy Daniels case. For most people, it would be time to hide under a rock and stay away from the limelight.

According to Trump’s second son, Eric, however, his father didn’t blink. Speaking on a new episode of the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, he recalled that, at what for most people would have been their lowest moment, the then-ex-president unbelievably said, “we’re going to win this all.”

"We were driving out of the court. My father had just been convicted... and the two of us are in the car together...

"And he looked at me, and he goes, 'Honey, I don't know how, but somehow we're going to win, and somehow we're going to win this all.'"

And, according to Eric, his dad didn’t just mean all the legal cases stacked up against him — he meant he would return to power:

"He wasn't just talking about the actual court case... he was also talking about winning the White House back and winning the entire election," he added.

Trump has appealed the convictions, and it could take years to resolve.  What was the point of this whole clown show, exactly, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg? What "justice" was served up?

Now, of course, Trump is the commander in chief and is busy conducting a high-stakes state visit to China. Biden is off wandering around somewhere in Delaware, while his attack dog attorney general Merrick Garland has all but disappeared. Unfortunately, Letitia James and Alvin Bragg are still in their respective offices, but they utterly failed in their mission to bring down Orange Man Bad.

I’d be lying if I said I could have predicted this in 2024 after the conviction in Bragg’s legally dubious ridiculous case involving a so-called “hush money payment” to bottom-feeder Stormy Daniels.

But somehow, Trump the elder never lost faith. How he stayed confident in the moment is beyond me.

"He came from such a place of positivity in such an unbelievably low moment," Trump told Hannity.

"I'll never forget that as long as I live."
