BOUCHARD: "Here's what we know so far: A car came to the facility, breached the facility by driving into it, was engaged by security. We believe there is one individual deceased in the vehicle. It’s been complicated because there was some fire, to say the least, with that vehicle. We believe that individual is deceased. No kids — this is the important thing — no kids or no staff was injured whatsoever. So we have no victims, other than one of the lead security people was hit by the car and was taken to the hospital for treatment. That individual should be okay. So, so far, that’s our information to this point. We have agencies from all over — obviously, ATF is here; FBI more than likely will be taking the lead on this."

Multiple reports indicate that the shooter has been taken out.

Police have descended en masse onto a Michigan synagogue after an attacker allegedly drove his vehicle into the building and then opened fire. Details are scant in this ongoing situation, and we don’t know how many (if any) casualties have resulted.
It would appear to be one of the many domestic terror attacks we have seen in recent days:

Here’s what we know:
Authorities responded to the Temple Israel in West Bloomfield just before 1 p.m. following reports of the crash, WDIV reported.
Police sources told the outlet the vehicle intentionally plowed into the synagogue before catching fire.
Aerial footage showed smoke wafting from the building in the apparent aftermath.

The FBI is on the scene:
FBI Director Kash Patel said agents are on scene and responding “to the apparent vehicle ramming and active shooter situation out of Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.” He added that FBI personnel are working with parents in Michigan.
Farmington Hills Police and West Bloomfield Police said they are also responding to an active shooter situation at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Police said they are responding to a fire at the same location. No further details could be provided.
Police say that Bloomfield Hills schools are “in secure mode due to an ongoing incident in West Bloomfield" out of precaution.
The Temple Israel synagogue serves a large congregation in Michigan and also operates a preschool.
Who is behind the apparent attack is unknown, and the law enforcement response is large and ongoing. RedState will update you with any new developments, and we hope we won’t have tragic news to bring you. That being said, this is clearly a serious situation, and we pray for the kids.
