Freestyle skier Hunter Hess took his opportunity on the world stage to diss America, the country he’s representing, saying it was "a little hard” to be the face of his nation because of President Donald Trump’s efforts to clean up the illegal alien mess left to him by former President Joe Biden.
Trump had some hard words for this unpatriotic athlete, saying in a Sunday social media post that it was a big ask to root for someone like this:
Trump, never one to mince words, came down hard on the apparently anti-American skier:
U.S. Olympic Skier, Hunter Hess, a real Loser, says he doesn’t represent his Country in the current Winter Olympics. If that’s the case, he shouldn’t have tried out for the Team, and it’s too bad he’s on it. Very hard to root for someone like this. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Hess whined about his home country, the one that’s given him this amazing opportunity, in a press conference:
During a news conference in Milan on Friday, Hess, a freestyle skier, said it was "a little hard" to represent the U.S. and he felt mixed emotions.
"There's obviously a lot going on that I'm not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people aren't," he said. "Just because I'm wearing the flag doesn't mean I represent everything that's going on in the U.S."
Fellow ski team member Chris Lillis spoke out against ICE at the same news conference, saying he felt heartbroken.
"I think that as a country we need to focus on respecting everybody's rights and making sure that we're treating our citizens as well as anybody with love and respect," Lillis said. "And I hope that when people look at athletes competing in the Olympics, they realize that that's the America that we're trying to represent."
Contrast that with this:

Now that clip actually gives me the infamous Chris Matthews thrill up the leg.
Any words on what it’s like to be a resident of North Korea, Mr. Hess — or Iran? No. Instead, he’d like to bash the freest country in the world, the United States of America.
Hunter Hess has every right to voice how much he hates America. That is protected speech and the government cannot penalize him for that.

However, representing your country in the Olympics is a privilege; not a right.
That privilege should be revoked.

Trump’s efforts to clean up the illegal alien disaster bequeathed upon him by Joe Biden has the Left up in arms, here and abroad, because if there’s anything they don’t want to see, it’s curbs on letting them in by the millions.
What we don’t need is athletes representing our country undermining our world stature. Trump, not one known for subtlety, blasted this guy.
But he’s not wrong. To hell with this dude.
