I call California Gov. Gavin Newsom the most dangerous man in America for what he did and continues to do to the Golden State (hint: he devastated it). He’s Joe Biden with charisma, Kamala Harris with brains. When you actually analyze what he’s saying, it’s almost always extreme, nonsensical, and far-left, but when he’s saying it, he manages to come across as articulate and reasonable. As much as I hate to admit it, the guy who I’ve watched destroy the state with the endless homeless crisis, insane taxes and cost of living, over-regulation, and focus on woke over quality of living is actually… good.
When I say “good,” I don’t mean in some sort of ethical sense; I mean he’s good at pretending to care about the people while hiding his radical progressivism.
And now, the Hollywood donors are reportedly starting to coalesce around him as they await his all but inevitable presidential run. It always amazes me how Tinseltown can have so many talented people, and yet so many of them are morons who are completely out of touch with regular Americans. Now, after most of the big stars and producers went all in for Obama, Hillary, Joe, and Kamala, they appear to have chosen Gavin as their next heir apparent (or would he be the hair apparent?):
Set as the marquee interview for the New York Times‘ annual DealBook Summit, the California governor is attracting a lot of big league attention of late all across the nation. Back on the West Coast, and in Hollywood in particular, the Donald Trump-battling Newsom is also increasingly viewed as ready for his close-up as a favorite of influential and deep-pocketed industry donors for the 2028 White House race.
“He’s a fighter, that’s what we need!” a top-tier producer, and reliable Dem ATM over the decades, told Deadline of Newsom. “I just wish more Democrats, like Schumer and the leadership (in Congress), would emulate him, not take any sh*t from Trump,” the producer added of Newsom and his Trump 2.0 strategy of throwing punches online and off line at the authoritarian “loser” White House.

Deadline, the site that covers Hollywood and which wrote the story on Newsom’s popularity among the entertainment crowd, had plenty of quotes from folks like this:
Donna Bojarsky, the civic activist and political strategist, says that Newsom “captured the zeitgeist and spirit of voters.” She credits his willingness to take risks, something often in short supply in politics, as well as leadership.”No one wants to really dive into the presidential race yet, but I think people are deeply impressed, and curious to see how the next months go.”
Tell that to the millions of residents and thousands of companies who have fled California under his watch. Or to the thousands who lost their homes in the mismanaged Pacific Palisades and Altadena wildfires. Or to the girls who watched their sports dreams die as they were forced to compete against males in Wokeifornia. The folks who can’t walk their neighborhoods because they’d be harassed by the homeless throngs. The crime victims who watch as criminals offend, walk free, and re-offend.
I could go on — and on — but you get the idea. Whichever way the Hollywood elite leans, in modern times, you can pretty much guarantee that it’s toward whatever is the leftist cause of the day. The majority are wrong on 90 percent of the issues, and they’re wrong here about Gavin Newsom.
He, and progressivism in general, have shown to be disastrous to California, and they would be disastrous for the nation. We must do everything to make sure he never occupies the Oval Office.
