Let me start this article by warning that there is plenty of profanity coming. Not from me, but from comedian and pundit Bill Maher. It’s almost impossible to write about Maher or basically any Democrat these days without encountering oodles of curse words.
On Friday, the host of HBO’s “Real Time,” who has made a nice living bashing Donald Trump but in recent times has also been harshly criticizing woke Democrats, begrudgingly had to admit that he agrees with Trump that antisemitism and extreme wokeism have infected Harvard University. He noted that he himself has been criticizing the Ivy League institution for years.
Trump has come down hard on the school, yanking grants, revoking the visas of all their international students (a move that is currently being fought in court), and demanding that they provide background information on their foreign students. He’s not all wrong, Maher admitted:
"The Harvard situation. Trump has declared full scale war on Harvard. And like so many things he does, there's a kernel of a good idea there. I mean, I've been s****ing on Harvard long before he was," Maher said.
[CNN's Jake] Tapper jumped in, quipping, "Well, you went to Cornell [University], so I mean...."
"That's not why," Maher responded, with the exchange drawing laughter from the audience and the comedian. "No, it's because Harvard is an a**hole factory in a lot of ways, that produces smirking f*** faces."
He then asked Moulton, "Are you from Harvard?" To which Tapper pointed out that the Democratic congressman has "three degrees from Harvard."
"Present company accepted [sic]," Maher quickly added.

In March, Maher surprised (and outraged) many of his leftist friends when he agreed to sit down for dinner with Hitler himself, President Donald Trump. Although he has continued to criticize the president since, he was forced to tell the truth: he enjoyed himself.

The left’s endless attempts to compare Trump to Hitler or some other monstrous dictator have been—and continue to be—an abject failure, and although Maher is often maddening in that he can’t seem to quit some of his leftist views, he’s able to call Democrats out on their silliness. While whiny progressives currently have their hair on fire over Trump’s moves against Harvard and call it an attack on free speech, the reality is that the administration is not telling them what they can or cannot say (or do).
What he is telling them is that the American taxpayer shouldn’t have to pay for some of the drivel and discrimination that comes out of the place.
The nation’s elite academic institutions have lost the plot and become full-on indoctrination centers.
Trump is fighting back.
