I take the whole COVID issue personally because the federal, state and local government response was the most tyrannical thing I’ve ever seen in this country. My family was profoundly (negatively) affected by the authorities who kept my kids at home for the better part of two years, and relations in the larger family were ripped apart over differing viewpoints on vaccinations, masks, the whole shebang.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist by nature, but it was hard not to get the impression that sinister things were going on in the darkened backrooms of power. According to the House Judiciary Committee, there’s evidence that in the case of the mRNA vaccines, that’s exactly what was going on:

Lawmakers are investigating whether Pfizer waited to share results of the Covid vaccine in 2020 until after that year’s presidential election, based on new allegations that a former Pfizer scientist has said he was part of an effort to “deliberately slow down” the testing, according to a new letter from the House Judiciary Committee.  

The House panel is seeking information from Pfizer and from the scientist, Philip Dormitzer, after learning he allegedly told colleagues in 2024 at a subsequent job he was worried he would face an investigation of his role in the vaccine’s release and asked to be relocated to Canada.

Holy smokes. If proven true, that would indeed be a bombshell and would expose just how Machiavellian and immoral politicians and Big Pharma execs became as they strived for ever more power.

Dormitzer claims his remarks have been misrepresented, but they seem pretty clear:

According to GSK’s account to the House panel, Dormitzer told colleagues at the British drugmaker last year that three of the most senior people at Pfizer R&D were “involved in a decision to deliberately slow down clinical testing so that it would not be complete prior to the results of the presidential election that year.” 

How exactly could one misrepresent that? House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) definitely considers it a smoking gun:

Pfizer spokeswoman Amy Rose denied everything and said the vax development was “driven by science and guided by the U.S. FDA back in 2020,” adding that “theories to the contrary are simply untrue and being manufactured.”

The panel has requested more documents and invited Dormitzer to appear by May 29.

This could get very interesting indeed. If it is proven that Pfizer intentionally manipulated testing data to sway voters, the ramifications would be huge and frankly unknown. Would there be prosecutions, or just strongly-worded letters? I vote for the former.
