You’re not imagining it—you’re living in a misinformation world where the major broadcast networks are regularly depicting a country that you don’t live in. For four years, they told us that Joe Biden was just fine—sharp as a tack—even though our own eyes told us otherwise.
Since 2016, they’ve tried to convince us that Donald Trump is Hitler reincarnate, even as he’s made major efforts to stomp out antisemitism in this country and has made no move to kill six million Jews.
Have they learned anything as their reputations have cratered and no one trusts them anymore? Of course not. They continue on their relentless campaign to demonize conservatives while pushing radical woke ideology down the throats of low-information voters. The numbers bear it out:
Just 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term, the broadcast evening news landscape is even more lopsided than it was eight years ago, when Trump was besieged with relentlessly hostile coverage. So far this year, the new Trump administration has faced a withering 92% negative coverage from ABC, CBS and NBC, whose flagship news programs averaged more than 19.3 million viewers during the first quarter of 2025, making them the most widely-watched news programs in the country.

I know some readers, when faced with stories like this, say, “Who cares? Nobody watches these gaslighting idiots anyway." Unfortunately, that is not the case—as the Newsbusters report indicates, almost 20 million viewers tune in on average to these lie-fests. We can ignore it, but we do so at our own peril—just remember, we got Joe Biden for four miserable years.

The numbers are stark:
■ The networks’ highly negative coverage of President Trump stands in stark contrast to the mostly (59%) positive coverage they provided Joe Biden four years ago.
■ While TV coverage of Trump’s last term was heavily focused on an array of personal controversies, this year’s coverage has mostly been about serious policy issues, led by tariffs (361 minutes), DOGE (310 minutes) and immigration (233 minutes).
■ The networks’ spin on Trump’s tariffs faced 93% negative coverage, while the DOGE cutbacks to government were greeted by 97% negative spin.
■ Even on immigration, the issue where the public gives the President his highest ratings, the networks’ spin was 93% negative. Out of nearly four hours (233 minutes) of evening news airtime devoted to immigration, these newscasts spent just 3.5 minutes letting viewers know just how much Trump has reduced border crossings.
■ Besides Trump himself, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. faced 89% negative press, DOGE’s Elon Musk was hit with 96% negative coverage, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth received a unanimous 100% bad press from the networks.

You don't hate the media enough.

If there’s a danger to Democracy that the Democrats keep crowing about, it’s that we have a Fourth Estate which is dishonest, biased, and extremist. It would just be something to laugh at and mock, were it not so noxious and such a threat to our country. We’ve seen in city after city what progressive rule brings—crime, rampant homelessness, stifling taxes, and disorder. This is what the mainstream media is pushing—progressivism—and we saw what it brought when they succeeded in installing Joe Biden and his tens of millions of illegal immigrants.
We must continue to call it out and push back at every opportunity.
Editor's Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie.
