Politicians are often compared to snakes, and there’s good reason: many are slithery, slimy, and will sink their teeth into your neck if given the chance.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is one of the most cutthroat pols at the top of the D.C. food chain, and now he’s admitting that he—despite months of supercilious denials—urged Joe Biden to drop his reelection efforts because he had no chance of winning. And in another move that will certainly be memorialized in the Shamelessness Hall of Fame, the conniving senator also admitted that he knew Joe was mentally compromised—once again, after months and months of piously assuring the American electorate otherwise.
There are some people, evidently, who simply do not have the ability to feel embarrassed.
Only now does the truth come out:
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who publicly proclaimed after President Biden’s disastrous debate, “I’m with Joe,” has now revealed to The New York Times that he pointedly urged Biden to drop out of the race during a private meeting July 13.
“If you run and you lose to Trump, and we lose the Senate, and we don’t get back the House, that 50 years of amazing, beautiful work goes out the window,” Schumer told Biden bluntly, according to the Times, which reported the “tense” encounter from the New York lawmaker’s point of view.
“But worse — you go down in American history as one of the darkest figures,” Schumer admonished Biden.
Biden will still do down as one of the darkest figures in American history despite the fact that he did eventually drop out. Schumer:
“If I were you,” Schumer said, “I wouldn’t run, and I’m urging you not to run.”
Sssss. Pinocchio would be proud. And while Chuck told the world one thing, he was actually witnessing another reality:
But he didn’t think Biden wasn’t capable of doing the job, even though he often rambled in their weekly conversations and sometimes couldn’t remember why he called Schumer, according to the Times.
Schumer had vouched for Biden’s mental acuity only a few months before, when he told reporters in the Capitol on Feb. 13 that concerns about Biden’s physical and mental condition were “right-wing propaganda.”

“Once in a while, Mr. Biden would forget why he had called” Chuck Schumer per The New York Times.
Now they report this 3 days before Biden’s presidency ends. pic.twitter.com/G4Q8tZY8Yz
Nevertheless, the caustic New York senator continued to say, “I’m with Joe,” and even recently angrily denied that he had misled the public, but in this newest interview, the evidence and his own words prove the exact opposite. This should put him squarely in the running for the title of the “Most Dishonest Senator of All Time.”
Sssss.
Pants on fire: NBC Calls Out Chuck Schumer for Lying to Country About Biden's Decline. His Response Is Classic.
Luckily, we’ve gotten rid of Biden, unfortunately, with the help of the odious Schumer and the poisonous Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). And sadly, Schumer will continue to darken the halls of Congress on his quest to divide, mislead, obfuscate, and fearmonger because that is his stock in trade.
The good news is that he will be deeply tormented by Trump’s presidency, and I can only consider that a good thing. Sssss.
Obviously, if Schumer/Pelosi/Obama pitch to Biden had been: You've got to withdraw so Kamala can lose the White House, House, and Senate -- it wouldn't have been terribly persuasive. Biden, of course, has only himself to blame. But he must have the feeling of having been scammed. https://t.co/l3XPWuBvqZ
