Leftists Struggle to Hold Back the Tears As They Melt Over Demise of Biden's Reelection Campaign

Townhall Media

In general, I believe gloating is bad form; you can take some pleasure in your victories but there’s no need to rub your opponent’s face in it. That being said, it’s very, very hard to work up any sympathy for the leftist TV hosts and politicians who are traumatized by the sudden end of Biden’s reelection quest. After all, they’ve been lying to us for years about Joe’s condition, and they’re utterly corrupt, so it’s a bit much to think we should feel sorry for them now.

CNN’s Van Jones, who famously called it a “whitelash” after Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, could not control his emotions on live TV:

His overwrought statements border on parody:

Like, like when you're when your grandpa, you got to take the keys and everybody's [like], "You gotta take his keys. Gotta take his keys." ...And he's fighting and he's fighting, and everybody's all frustrated. Then you finally get the keys back.

And then you just cry.

Because this is somebody that you love, this is somebody that you care about. This is somebody who was there for you. This somebody you wouldn't be here without him. And you had to take something from him. Now, this is not... Look, politics is politics. But this is a human moment for one of the great humans in America.

“This somebody you wouldn't be here without him”—what does that even mean? Meanwhile, “this is a human moment for one of the great humans in America.” That is just utter garbage.

RedState’s Jim Thompson thoroughly nuked that false narrative:

Debunking the Remaining Myth: Biden Has Never Been a 'Decent Man'

Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) was also unable to keep a stiff upper lip and carry on:

Give the man a handkerchief:

“The folks in Delaware who’ve been texting me and calling me in the last few hours, all want me to say to Joe Biden, how much we love him, how much we admire and respect his service and how grateful we all are for the decisions he’s made over decades in his service and his tireless loyalty to our home state of Delaware,” Coons said as he stopped to sob for a few seconds before composing himself.

Meanwhile, over at MSNBC, former White House Press Secretary and now opinion host Jen Psaki—who’s become almost as dishonest and shrill as Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow—could barely find her words.

“I am digesting this myself here, because I worked for him for a year and a half, and he is a remarkable person, a remarkable president," the former press secretary said as she broke the news during Sunday’s edition of “Inside with Jen Psaki.”

Even in her melancholy, though, Psaki couldn’t help but continue to gaslight the public.

Before Psaki read Biden’s letter, she could be heard stuttering and pausing before going into the details, with the MSNBC anchor later noting on X that the news caught everyone off guard.

“There’s very little indication from people close to him and many people in the campaign that this was about to happen, as much as there were reports of Democrats calling on him to do that,” she wrote.

Caught everyone off guard? There was no indication that this was coming? Has she been living under a rock? The man can no longer read a teleprompter speech; how did she think this would end?

I’m sure we’ll see other dramatic meltdowns in the coming days, but these performances are certainly award-worthy.

As I’ve written previously, I take no joy in Biden’s decline; mental deterioration is a tough thing to watch. But watch it we did, and all the while leftists and their corporate media lackeys lied to us about what was happening. Now that the chickens have come home to roost, I won’t necessarily gloat, but I feel exactly zero sympathy for them as they whimper their way through live broadcasts.
