It's not too hard to figure out why the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act ("SAVE America Act") is like garlic to a vampire for Democrats. Traditional Democratic voting blocs, black and Hispanic Americans, are beginning to see through the Democrats' decades-long grift for their votes. The solution: Joe Biden throwing open the southern border and letting millions of illegal immigrants into the country. But don't worry, Democrats told us, none of these people are voting in elections.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have laid out their demands for DHS.

But on Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made what was either just a faux pas that people who speak in public often make — or was it the mother of all Freudian slips? As Schumer blathered on about Democrats' opposition to the SAVE America Act, he posited this gem:
“[T]heir bill isn’t voter ID … It is about voter registration. It allows ICE to kick tens of billions of people off the rolls, off the rolls. And they don’t tell them until election day and you show up and you say, ‘You’re not registered anymore, you’re not registered here. You’re not on the rolls.’ And they say, ‘I didn’t know that.’ This is a bill that destroys the country. And it is not about showing ID when you show up to vote. It’s about the voter registration rolls — destroying them, purging them, not letting people know and taking the rights in a algorithm put together by ICE, put together by DOGE [Department of Government Efficiency] and [Elon] Musk. It’s an outrage. And that’s why so many people don’t want to pass it.”

Did Chucky inadvertently confirm what we have all suspected? The truth is, it has already been confirmed. There are multiple stories of illegal immigrants voting in American elections. Just this week, an illegal immigrant from Mauritania was arrested by ICE and charged with voter fraud in Philadelphia. He had allegedly voted in every federal election since 2008. Every. One. Is that the ICE Schumer is talking about?

The SAVE America Act would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and a photo ID to vote in federal elections. It also mandates that states confirm voters' citizenship and purge all non-citizens from the voting rolls. Schumer and the Democrats' problem is that 85 percent of all Americans support the SAVE America Act, including 70 percent of Democrats.

Chuck Schumer's "misspeak" may be a good argument, at least for Democrats, for something else: purging Congress of all the dinosaurs whose brains are slowly turning to mush, and who let go with all the party secrets, including Schumer himself. Only this really hasn't been a secret.
