The Infuriating Nonsense Teachers Learned at a Recent NEA Conference - 'Neopronouns' and 'Xeopronouns?!'

It has been no secret for quite some time that the American education system is horribly broken. We hear story after story of kids graduating from high school who can't fill out a job application because they can't read or write. It's also no secret that a big part of the problem is large and powerful teachers' unions, who clearly have no interest in teaching children, only lining the pockets of their members and getting Democratic politicians elected who will look the other way so they can continue the taxpayer-funded gravy train. But it's what teachers are focused on at professional conferences that will really make your blood boil.

Earlier this month, the nation's largest teachers' union, the National Education Association (NEA), held a conference. The topic, "Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice." The conference was held just months after the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as The Nation's Report Card, showed that student test scores in reading and math are hitting new lows.

'Nation's Report Card' on American Students Is in—and Hoo Boy, Is It Bad

We thought there might be an end to this ridiculousness when President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning gender identity ideology on day one of his second term. But the NEA is not letting that stop them from indoctrinating children. So, what are the teachers learning about that they can brainwash captive classrooms of students with? Well, for starters, "neopronouns" and "xeopronouns." As a dear friend of mine would say, "What in the fresh hell are neo and xeo pronouns?" "Neopronouns" are "nontraditional" (what??) pronouns like "xe/xem/xyr," ey/em/eyr," and "ze/zir/zirs." You know, the ones we use all the time. But wait, it gets better. "Xeopronouns" are "conceptual identities," such as...wait for it... "star/stars/starself" and "cat/cats/catself." Is this really happening?

The conservative watchdog group, Defending Education, obtained some of the material used at the conference. When it comes to transitioning, the material offers these tips:

“When someone calls you and tells you they are transitioning, do not question them about what they are doing." and “NEVER talk someone out of transitioning or question their decisions around their identity.”

When someone tells you not to ask questions, ask as many questions as humanly possible. Then, there is the PowerPoint presentation, which includes a slide that explains the entire transgender jigsaw puzzle of verbiage. Even more confusing, the material states that “People’s gender identity and sexual orientation can shift at different times."

But perhaps the most disturbing part of all of this is that teachers are taught tactics on how to advance the LGBTQ agenda, but to do it "gradually." The reason: so the "public has time to adjust." If this is all on the up and up, why do you need to sneak it into the public bloodstream? We know the answer.

Of course, what NEA conference would be complete without declaring Republicans "villains," and “mobilizing their base with a potent mix of racist and transphobic tropes.” Toss in a little "oppressed peoples" claptrap, and you've got yourself an NEA conference. Apparently, the fact that 45 percent of high school seniors scored "below basic" in math, and one-third of those seniors tested "below basic' in reading, is far less important than left-wing indoctrination for the three million teachers, staff, and administrators that belong to the union.

It's all a toxic leftist mix of transgender ideology that is being introduced incrementally, so you will "adjust," and it's happening in a public school near you.

Woke is not dead. Our schools are still encouraging gender transitions behind parents back. The NEA is a far-left insane asylum.
