As Elon Musk and his band of tech nerds begin to root out decades of government waste, fraud, and abuse, it seems every revelation about what the federal government has been doing with our money, the taxpayers' money, is more egregious than the last. We have all made jokes about the government spending bazillions of dollars on ridiculous things like studying the sex lives of fruit flies. But the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has proven many of those silly expenditures that sound like they could have happened -- along with many that are not so silly -- are true. Where is the money coming from? The "magic money" computers.
We need to find out who owns and controls these “Magic Money Computers”. Someone knows. It’s Time to blow that whistle.

On a recent episode of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's podcast, "Verdict with Ted Cruz," Cruz and his co-host Ben Ferguson sat down with Elon Musk. The main topic, of course, was DOGE and what Musk and his team are finding as they dig deeper into government finances. During the podcast, Musk revealed a hugely significant discovery, something he has dubbed "magic money" computers.

He told Cruz and Ferguson, "...So I call the magic money computer, any computer that can just make money out of thin air. That's magic money." Cruz then asked, "So, how does that work?" Musk stated, "It just issues payments." Cruz followed up and asked, "And you said there's something like 11 of these computers at Treasury that are sending out trillions in payments?" Musk continued, "Well, they are mainly at Treasury, but there's some at HHS, one or two at State, there's some at DOD. I think we've found now 14 magic money computers. They just send money out of nothing."
Crazy. Magic money, computers? And most of our senators don’t even know about it? This country has truly been asleep and all the while it’s being ripped off. The American people are being ripped off. 😳🙄🤦♂️

Government computers issuing payments into the ether is a prime example of the toxic bloat that Musk and his team are unearthing. Musk added that his goal is to save $1 trillion of waste and fraud by fiscal year 2026. Musk went on to describe instances where there were software licenses and media subscriptions that outnumbered employees in a department. Musk also stated that DOGE has found "twice as many government credit cards as there are humans."
"Magic money" computers are just the latest in some of the most heinous examples of government waste that DOGE has uncovered. One of its biggest targets has been the U.S. Agency for International Development. The agency was shelling out billions of dollars on left-wing causes around the world, like DEI musicals in Ireland, $2.5 million for electric vehicles in Vietnam, and $2 million for sex changes and "LGBT activism" in Guatemala. Musk said he believes there is a staggering and unsustainable 80 percent waste to 20 percent fraud ratio in government expenditures.

A majority of Americans are in support of Elon Musk and DOGE. A CBS/YouGov poll showed 54 percent of Americans think DOGE should have some influence over government spending and operations. A Washington Post/Ipsos poll showed that 42 percent of registered voters think DOGE is cutting government wasteful spending. But not everyone is on board with what Musk and DOGE are doing. Just a few years ago, Elon Musk was a hero for the left. Now that he has aligned himself with Donald Trump, "Elon Derangement Syndrome" is right up there with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Cruz asked Musk, "Why do they hate you so much?" Musk could not have been more right with his answer, saying, "Because we're clearly over the target...they hate me because DOGE is being effective..."
The best part will be to watch who gets mad and jumps up and down the most when Elon Musk and DOGE pull the plug on the magic money computers.
An absolute bombshell from @elonmusk on the latest episode of Verdict.
