Local and federal authorities are combing the area near Hampton, Georgia, in a manhunt, after a man allegedly shot and killed four people on Saturday morning.
HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities on Saturday were searching for a man suspected of gunning down three men and a woman in Georgia.
Andre Longmore, a 40-year-old from Hampton, Georgia, is believed to be armed and dangerous, Hampton Police Chief James Turner said during a news conference.
Authorities said the shootings happened late Saturday morning at a subdivision in Hampton, a city of about 8,500 people about 40 miles (65 kilometers) south of Atlanta.

In addition to local police departments, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is also a part of the search to bring the alleged shooter to justice.
Hampton Police Department Chief James Turner said during the press conference:
This is a sad day in Hampton. It’s not normal for us and as a community we will grieve together. As a police department we will do everything in our power to make ensure that the person is brought to justice.
Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett’s office is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to Longmore’s arrest and prosecution. AP’s report also included this message to the alleged killer by Scandrett:
Wherever you are, we will hunt you down in whatever hole you may be hiding in and bring you into custody. Period.
