For over six months, Americans have been told that they can’t leave their homes except to patronize companies seen as providing “essential services,” they can’t open their business store fronts to customers, kids can’t go trick-or-treating on Halloween, and most recently, they cannot gather with their family members to celebrate Thanksgiving.

And most definitely, people who support President Donald Trump can’t rally in large groups, or it’s a superspreader event for the China plague.

They’ve also been assured that so many people were afraid to leave their own homes to vote at the polls, mail-in voting needed to be provided to everyone possible across the country.

So, what’s the explanation for what we’re seeing taking place today, after a wide swath of the legacy media has projected Joe Biden as winning the White House Saturday?

This comes as NY Governor Andrew Cuomo demands that all travelers flying into his state show proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Or you’ll have to quarantine for two weeks.

But one bird’s-eye-view video of a similar gathering of Biden celebrants outside the White House is raising some eyebrows.

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume has a brutal question for those who’ve insisted we lock down and mask up. He asked his social media followers on Twitter this afternoon:

It’s a great question, especially as college football games are played today with canned cheers from imaginary fans inside empty stadiums. And tomorrow, limited numbers of NFL fans will filter into mostly-deserted stadiums that can hold tens of thousands of people safely. There are other questions this scene brings up, like why can’t all schools open, if this is fine? Why can’t we go to movie theaters at full capacity right now, if all that’s needed to be safe from the Wuhan coronavirus is a mask? And why exactly can’t we hold celebrations like weddings, or gather to mourn a loved one at a funeral, if everyone is provide or brings a mask to wear?

The sad fact is that we aren’t going to hear any of these questions asked by the media of their friends on the Left. Schumer, Cuomo, Nancy Pelosi, and especially Joe Biden (who’s already called a media lid today) and Kamala Harris will not be forced to answer why one kind of behavior during a pandemic is forbidden for some Americans but okey dokey for groups of people they agree with politically. The silence is deafening. And where I come from, that’s called hypocrisy.
