Since the advent of COVID-19, you’ve heard it heralded many times: Our healthcare workers are heroes.
But even those gallant guardians of goodness can make a minor mistake.
Take, for example, a nurse in Indonesia.
As reported by the New York Post, the medical staffer recently admitted to an itty-bitty infraction.
Call it a calculated risk, call it dutiful dedication: Apparently, the nurse stripped off all that precautionary personal protective equipment to take special care of a patient.
Asep Gunawan, of the National Nurses Association, confirmed:
“It is true that there has been a suspected incident of a…relationship between a health worker and a…patient at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital.”
The whole thing came to light due to the nurse’s bold boasting of the lascivious liaison on social media.
Per The Sun, the carnal caregiver uploaded images of the encounter.
Pictures included the PPE, steamily strewn like a rose-petal path to Pleasuretown.
Unfortunately, the foxy photos may result in both patient and provider being prosecuted under the country’s anti-pornography laws.
From Lieutenant Colonel Arh Herwin BS, head of information at the Regional Military Command:
“This case has been transferred to the Central Jakarta Police. We have secured the health worker to become a witness and ask for further information. Meanwhile, the patient continues to undergo isolation at the Athlete’s House.”
It’s not the first time this year a nekkid nurse has gotten nailed for naughtiness.
In May, I covered the plight of 23-year-old Nadia Zhukova, who showed up to her Russian COVID unit wearing nothing but a bra and panties beneath her see-through safety gear.
“The unidentified staffer told her managers at Tula Regional Clinical Hospital that she was “too hot” to wear clothing underneath the head-to-toe vinyl gown… The nurse claimed she did not realize that her underwear was showing through the PPE.”https://t.co/Y7oMGi0YZx

As for punishment, in the end, those in authority tried not to be too hard. After all, she provided an inarguable defense:
“I was too hot.”
Perhaps the same was true in Indonesia, though the temperature wasn’t likely lowered by the fact that they had sex.
Nor was the tight environment conceivably conducive to a cooling off: Purportedly, the pair accomplished intercourse in a toilet.
Also an improbable icing effect: that the patient may very well have had a fever — they were in the hospital with the coronavirus.
Hopefully, the passionate pair’ll be cut some slack.
Sadly, for now, the two have been arrested.
Both guys could face up to 10 years in prison.

A nurse at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Jakarta was fired today after a screen capture of sexually explicit messages between him and a Covid-19 patient was shared on Twitter earlier today. Apparently the nurse and the patient had sex recently at the hospital. pic.twitter.com/mK7H1NRXPP
