On Monday, America’s resident genius and mega-modern man Elon Musk took a musket to the nation’s far Left and went to flint town.

The tech titan blasted the antics of those in politics cruising toward the crusty edge and forgetting who butters their bread:

“The left is losing the middle.”

As noted by The Daily Wire, that might’ve surprised some folks:

[The tweet] was sure to confound members of the Left confident that their support for the current attacks on America, whether physical (riots, looting) or philosophical (the 1619 project) was shared by everyone in the so-called center of the political spectrum.

Not half an hour later, Elon fired again with the help of Karl Marx:

If you require a bit of explanation, let me gib you dat.

Das Kapital, written by Marx, was a philosophical treatise on capitalism and why it would fail.

As of late, Elon’s been flunking Democrats — as I covered in May, he threatened to leave California due to shutdown shenanigans:

He won that round — California caved.

And just four days before, the innovator canceled cancel culture:

If you’re unfamiliar with the reference, it’s from The Matrix as quoted by Fox News:

“You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”

Here’s RedState’s Nick Arama with more:

“[T]aking the red pill” is…frequently used to describe waking up or walking away from being a Democrat/liberal and becoming a conservative.

The pandemic certainly seems to have brought out a bit of conservatism in capitalist Musk.

According to The Verge, he explained things thusly during a Tesla earnings call in April:

“If somebody wants to stay in the house, that’s great. They should be allowed to stay in the house, and they should not be compelled to leave. But to say that they cannot leave their house and they will be arrested if they do…this is fascist. This is not democratic. This is not freedom. Give people back their…freedom … Everything people have worked for all their lives is being destroyed in real time. I think the people are going to be very angry about this and are very angry.”

Now they may be afraid to go out for a wholly different reason — aspiring revolutionaries are in the streets enacting violence, in some cases, against innocents.

And that ain’t endearing Democrats to centrists.

In fact — as per Elon — for those reasons and/or others, the party of the donkey is mule-kickin’ ’em away.

It’s not hard to imagine.

In fact, it’d be harder to believe we’re going to Mars.
