Hollywood mainstay James Woods isn’t afraid to torpedo left-wing luminaries, and such was the case recently concerning a former White House crew.
As covered by RedState’s Nick Arama, on Saturday, former President Obama unloaded on lousy leadership during a virtual high school commencement speech.
Here’s what Barack had to say:
“More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing.”
Heck, “A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”
Furthermore:
“Doing what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy — that’s how little kids think. Unfortunately, a lot of so-called grown-ups, including some with fancy titles and important jobs, still think that way — which is why things are so screwed up.”
He’s not wrong, but some took it as a veiled swipe at the Trump administration.
And more than a few have called it a black-pot-and-kettle situation.
Asked by a reporter about Obama’s message, Trump explained Sunday that he “didn’t hear it.”
Nevertheless, the Leader of the Free World mustered an opinion:
“Look, he was an incompetent president. That’s all I can say. Grossly incompetent.”
Projection deflection with zero reflection:

James was able to construct one, too, complete with a Star Wars reference:
“Never will you find a more treacherous hive of scum and villainy… #ObamaGate pic.twitter.com/IoUTa0rwGd

The actor then delved into the scandal of General Michael Flynn’s unmasking, serving up socks to the last White House along the way:
“Throughout history, dictatorial regimes have abused intelligence resources for political reasons to protect hidden policy agendas. General Flynn was a top Middle East expert, openly wary of Obama’s love affair with Iran and its extremist Muslim regime.”
He capped that with “#PalletsOfCash #ObamaGate.”

Next came a response to former Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes, who’d contended, “The unconfirmed, acting DNI using his position to criminalize routine intelligence work to help re-elect the president and obscure Russian intervention in our democracy would normally be the scandal here…”
As noted by The Daily Wire, Ben “admitted years ago (to) manipulating the media in order to secure support for the infamous Iran deal.”
James flew overhead, opened the hatch, and dropped a bomb:
“But sadly, after three years of witch hunts, it turns out the only actual intervention in our democracy was the cancer that was the Obama White House.”

Finally, the Emmy and Golden Globe winner praised our president. He put it like it is — Trump is “vain, insensitive and raw.”
But also:
“[H]e loves America more than any President in my lifetime. He is the last firewall between us and this cesspool called Washington. I’ll take him any day over any of these bums.”
Let’s face it. Donald Trump is a rough individual. He is vain, insensitive and raw. But he loves America more than any President in my lifetime. The Commander-in-Chief appreciated the tip of the hat, and James returned with a fact of life — one we’re seeing play out during this present darkness: “Rough men stay the course.”
And indeed it was intended as such, Mr. President. Rough men stay the course. Treachery, however, is the most dangerous enemy a leader can face. Even Caesar succumbed to it. Be wary. Stay strong. God bless. #ObamaGate https://t.co/nXnKc1en9i

How often have you seen a congenial exchange between an Academy Award nominee and a Republican president? Or a Republican anything?
James is a rare breed. So is Donald Trump.
And both of them seem unafraid to say what they think — just like when the actor got flagged by Twitter a while back. Relevant to recent news of barbers opening illegally, James was evidently looking for a salon-style dry job:

He’s a gunslinger, folks.
