It's Gotta Be Giving Democrats Fits: A Hollywood Actress Praises Trump for His Leadership and 'Care'

In this time of tumult, the President’s getting high fives from some unlikely places.

As I covered on March 17th, Beelzebub had to bundle up; an anchor on CNN praised Donald Trump.

From my article:

Incredibly, anchor Dana Bash gave a high-five to the Commander-in-Chief after dismissing criticism from neurosurgeon/reporter Snajay Gupta.

According to Dana, The Donald’s “tone” over the past couple days has been fantastic:

“If you look at the big picture, this was remarkable by the President of the United Sates. This is a nonpartisan, this is an important thing to note and to applaud, from an American standpoint, from a human standpoint.”

Satan get your snow shoes:

“[Trump] is being the kind of leader that people need, at least in tone, today and yesterday, in tone, that people need and want and yearn for in times of crises and uncertainty.”

Well, now there’s another anomaly: On Monday, a Hollywood actress threw Tinseltown a wicked curveball.

In a post to Twitter, Kirstie Alley thanked POTUS for his leadership amid a crisis:

Dear Mr. President,

I wanted to thank you for your recent decorum, sincerity, and care towards us. You’re taking charge and leading in a manner needed and wanted for this country. I highly commend you for your boundless energy and willingness to solve problems.

My eyebrows just hit my hairline.

Some loved the tweet. Others? Not so much.

One of those would be Howard Stern’s former “Stuttering John,” comedian and podcaster John Melendez.

He asked if Kirstie’d gone insane.

Personally, I believe Kirstie’s right — I’ve been impressed with Trump’s apparent strength over COVID-19 and all it’s brought. In my view, he’s exhibited qualities of solid leadership.
