31-year-old Marvin Oswaldo Escobar-Orellana was arrested Tuesday after allegedly murdering the family with whom he lived in Des Moines.
As reported by the Associated Press, Marvin is supected of having shot to death 29-year-old Rossibeth Flores-Rodriguez and her two children: 11-year-old Grecia Daniela Alvarado-Flores and 5-year-old Ever Jose Mejia-Flores.
Marvin called 911 himself.
The Guatemalan — who’s in the country illegally — has a rich history with law enforcement. In 2010, he was deported due to an illegal entry conviction.
A court ordered him not to return.
2011 = deportation #2.

Marvin told a 911 operator Rossibeth had murdered her own children, and he’d had to kill her in self-defense. Authorities say that’s not what occurred, though it remains unclear why he slaughtered a mother and her two young kids.
He’s being charged with three counts of first degree murder.
Meanwhile, ICE intends to arrest and deport resistors court-ordered to self-deport via a series of raids (here). New York Mayor Bill de Blasio — as well as Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti — wants to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Bill had a message for illegal immigrants fitting the description above:
“This is your city.”

Police Chief Michel Moore offered Los Angeles this:
“We will not enforce immigration laws that are civil in nature and fall under the jurisdiction of the federal government.”
