Beto Insists Central Americans Have 'No Choice' but to Attempt Illegal Immigration Because You Starved Them with Your 'Excesses'

Beto O’Rourke seems desperate to win.

The kind of desperate that results in things like his inexplicable Spanish mid-debate.

Or how about this: In an apparent effort to appeal to the commoners, he vowed to destroy America’s privileged millionaires (here). Curiously, he evidently forgot that he’s a what? A privileged millionaire — he inherited his millions, and his wife’s father is worth $500 million.

Dear Beto,

If you want to preach the destruction of privileged wealth, you have to give away all yours first. That’s the easiest one to destroy — your own. Make a donation. Give it all away. Lead by example. Otherwise, informed voters’ll think you’re a goob.

Personally, I don’t think you should surrender your riches; but I also don’t believe you have the right to strip others of theirs.

Continuing his strained attempt at the brass ring of Popular Candidate, on Wednesday, Beto claimed that Mexicans and Central Americans have “no choice” but to try to get into America without going through the provided system in order to get into America — aka immigration.

And — lest you think it isn’t your fault — those folks are having to not go through America’s immigration system (?) because of you and me (and Beto?). You see, our “excesses” caused global warming. And that caused drought. And that caused all the people to have to come here.

I’m not clear as to why they were forced to not utilize our immigration system, but this is a campaign so let’s just go with it.

Here’s Beto, while visiting Florida’s Homestead Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children. Oh — one more thing: We’re dumb when it comes to science (like here?).

Take the floor, Beto:

“[W]e’ve got to remember that they are fleeing the deadliest countries on the face of the planet today compounded by drought that was caused not by God, not by mother nature, but by us. Man-made climate change, our emissions, our excesses, our inaction in the face of the facts and the science — when it is that deadly, and when you’re unable to grow your own food to feed yourself, you have no choice but to come here.”

Does he believe everyone in Mexico and Central America has to grow their own food?

Either way, it’s your fault, ExcessPeople.

Apart from his marriage, 46-year-0ld Beto’s worth $9 million. The median net worth of the American family at his age is $124,000. Can he, then, just take responsibility for illegal immigration and leave us out of it?

And if he’s done something so crappy as to force all these people to uproot themselves and involuntarily attempt to break the law, how is it that he deserves to be president? If we were to elect someone responsible for such a turd move, we might not even be a country worth being forced to sneak into.

More questions to be answered, as we continue on this bizarro path to 2020.
