Until last year, I didn’t know what “troll” meant. I learned the term, because I had one. This is the first time I’ve ever written the word. Call it an attempt to get with the times.
And speaking of getting with it, perennially out-of-it congressgirl Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez got…trolled…yet again in Times Square.
The first trollery, covered by RedState’s Brandon Morse, stated the following:
25,000 Lost NYC Jobs
$4 Billion in Lost Wages
$12 Billion in Lost Economic Activity for NY
Thanks For Nothing, AOC!
Good one.
It referred, of course, to Alexandria’s disposition toward lost revenue due to the failed Amazon deal (pleeease read about that here).
AOC fought the power with a tweet:
“Few things effectively communicate the power we’ve built in fighting dark money & anti-worker policies like billionaire-funded groups blowing tons of cash on wack billboards (this one is funded by the Mercers). (PS fact that it’s in Times Sq tells you this isn’t for/by NYers.)”

#Fail.
Continuing the ping-pong, Job Creators Network put up this beauty Friday:
“Hey AOC, Saw your wack tweet. … [T]his billboard cost about $4,000. But you cost NY 25,000 jobs and $4,000,000,000 in annual lost wages. Ouch!”

The comeback was great. Unfortunately, Alexandria doesn’t seem likely to understand it, as is indicated in the video below (as well as here and here).

I guess that’s the unfortunate reality of debating someone who, by all appearance, wholly lacks comprehension of the topic.
Luckily, Alexandria does claim to know about at least one thing: cow farts.
