Everyone has a checklist for the kinds of friends they need. We all share a few in common:
- Doctor
- Lawyer
- Cop
- Evil dictator
Moving on:
With all the tension surrounding the June 12th Singapore summit with North Korea, surely many of you have been biting your nails over the news of Dennis Rodman’s absence:
"I like him, he's a nice guy, but no he was not invited" – President Trump on Dennis Rodman coming to Singapore
Yesterday Rodman's manager told me "no comment" when I asked about planshttps://t.co/W8L2tO8B1D, which sponsored Rodman's last NK trip, said plans are in the works

I know — this is tough.
However, there is a ring of silver lining that cloud. Goodness knows we need it — if there’s one thing that might make a meeting between two gargantuan egos a little easier, it’s a power forward in drag, ready to tell them the good news of marijuana banking.
Hall of Famer Rodman, who has made multiple trips to North Korea to hang out with his dictator buddy in the past, is ready to fill the void. He intends to arrive in Singapore on June 11th. In the words of The Hill, “[He] could play a role in the negotiation.”
Dennis could be a social lubricant between the two heads: in addition to being BFF’s with Kim, he appeared as a contestant on The Donald’s Celebrity Apprentice.
Trump told the press he was unaware of Rodman’s plan to be in Singapore.
As for his part of the summit at a luxury hotel Tuesday, Trump feels ready and sufficient:
“I think I’m very well prepared. I don’t think I have to prepare very much. It’s about attitude. It’s about willingness to get things done.”
Do you feel better now? Let me know.
