The View is a silly place. Normally I would say here “If you haven’t seen it, this is what it is” and then I’d explain the show. But instead I will say: If you haven’t seen it, say a prayer of thanks, close the lid to your computer, and go smell the fresh air of the wonderful world you live in.

Co-host of The View Joy Behar is a silly person. Normally I would say here “these are examples of how silly she is,” and then give links. But instead I will say: Just trust me, she’s a walking, talking (sort of), “Don’t.” She’s a blurter. The dim ones usually are.

Here is the video, via Newsbusters, of this silly show’s silly host saying the latest stupid thing to blurt out of her dim face.

“Transgenders for Cruz is like Jews for Hitler,” Behar declared. Hostin agreed, “That’s right.”

You might say I’m being harsh with the old bag, but she’s comparing Cruz to Hitler. Explicitly. She’s saying “Hitler murdered Jews, JUST LIKE TED CRUZ MURDERS TRANSGENDER PEOPLE” so, I don’t feel super bad about trashing her.

Every day, someone compares Donald Trump or Ted Cruz to Hitler. And don’t get me wrong, from the standpoint of constructing an analogy the Nazis are a useful benchmark to illustrate a point. Want to know about evil propaganda? Look to the evilest and most propanda-y. Want an example of totalitarianism? Hitler. I get it. Useful. But in some analogies, you are not drawing an actual comparison of degrees between the two things.

In Joy Behar’s stupid case, she is. Hitler is to Jews as Cruz is to transgenders. That’s not an analogy. That’s just calling Cruz a proponent of genocide.

But all in a day’s work for The View, I suppose. Silly is their main business, but they have a big vertical market in despicably outrageous. This is just the latest product line. Besides, she’s got Democrats to elect. This is just a way of doing that through the entertainment world. Propaganda you might say.

You know .. like Goebbels.
