Yesterday, there was an attack in the Finnish city of Turku:
Finnish police say two people have died and six people have been injured after a stabbing attack in a market square in the south-western city of Turku.
It was unclear if the incident was related to terrorism, said police, who shot at and arrested one man after the attack. Contrary to earlier reports, police said they were not looking for other suspects.
Police said the suspect was in custody and being treated in hospital after officers shot him in the thigh. People were warned to stay away from Turku as security was reinforced nationwide.
Here at RedState we noted the reports but didn’t post on them because we are not a “local crime story” kind of site.
A mass knifing on a street in broad daylight has a certain non-European flavor to it but the local reports from Finland were insistent that this was not anything special:
STOP. SPREADING. MISLEADING. INFORMATION. They're not shouting Allahu Akbar but Varokaa = Watch out in Finnish. #Turku https://t.co/byvDjD6M9b

If you're thinking about writing some racist crap about the #Turku incident, just shut the fuck up.

As has been noted in several places on the internet, the longer the delay by authorities in identifying a perpetrator, the greater the chance that the perpetrator is a member of a group that government would rather not draw attention to.
Sure enough: Attack in Turku, Finland, Investigated as Terrorism.
A stabbing that killed two people and injured eight others in southwest Finland is being investigated as a terrorist attack, the national bureau of investigation said on Saturday.
The suspect, arrested after being shot by police, is an 18-year-old Moroccan. Four other Moroccans have been held.
…
They said the identity of the 18-year-old Moroccan was known, but they have not released it.At a later press briefing, they said the suspect had arrived in Finland in 2016 and had “been part of the asylum process”.
The police also said that he targeted women. His 2016 entry into Finland means that he was part of the “refugee” stream that Obama wanted us to accept.

And, the dhimmi reaction was totally predictable. There are protests against racism:
#turku today ''No space for racism'' possibly againts memorial or demonstration.
