In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, protests have broken out over the death of Alton Sterling at the hands of local police. One of the protesters was Deray McKesson, who has made a name for himself in high profile cases like these as a professional protester of sorts. Now it appears McKesson has been arrested, per… his own live streaming of the protest.

Now, the truth of the matter is he probably didn’t do anything that really warranted arrest. It’s clear that the police want the protesters out of the road, and that particular road doesn’t have sidewalks. Deray was simply livestreaming the protest, and the cops are in a tense situation.
However, Deray being there means that a lot of out-of-towners have decided to flock to Louisiana to raise holy hell, which is bound to solve very little.
