It came down to the wire but Mitt Romney went on to win the Iowa caucus. He edged out Rick Santorum by 8 votes. That’s the formality. The unofficial winners were Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.
Final Look at Iowa Before Caucus
One final look at Iowa before the caucus, and people are left wondering who the front-runner will be. In a statistical tie, Romney and Paul lead the pack with Santorum surging in the last week.
One thing remains certain. Mitt Romney has been the most consistant in the polls. Another thing that stands out is Ron Paul and his ability to garner the support he has, despite lack of attention from the media. Too many people still are brushing Paul off as the crazy. Even so much as to say that if he wins the Iowa caucus, it would mean nothing.
Time will tell who stands on top, and who will move on from Iowa.

Congressional Approval Rating at All Time Low of 5%
A new poll has been posted on the Congressional approval rating and it has hit a new all time low of 5%.
Rasmussen Reports had this to say:
Just when you think the numbers couldn’t get any worse for Congress, the end of session debacle over the payroll tax extension comes along and drives perceptions of Congress even lower.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just five percent (5%) of Likely Voters rate the job Congress is doing as good or excellent. Sixty-eight percent (68%) view Congress’ job performance as poor. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Wikileaks: Obama vs Clinton?
No doubt that Wikileaks hit it big with the newest dump of documents. Which leads many to question what the real purpose is. Was it sabotage? We may never know.
But, what we do know is the old addage of, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” Meaning there is real reason to why Obama chose Clinton to be Secretary of State. He needs her there to show experience, but the million dollar reason why is to hope she fails big time. And with a great deal of the dumped documents deal with foreign policy, it puts Hillary’s reputation on the line.
Her reputation is important, especially for her hope at another presidential run for 2012. And, with the hope off stealling the light, Obama has been looking for any reason to take that opportunity away. With his approval numbers at all time lows, anything to boost his standing instead of his closest opponent is needed to give any hope at all for a re-election bid.
Rising Korean Tensions
A few days ago, the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong, was hit with artillery from its neighbor North Korea. Which resulted in the deaths of two South Korean soldiers and two civilians. This attack was seen as a demonstration against the joint military exercise between the US and South Korea staged in the Yellow Sea.
However, it appears that there could be more to it. You see, there is a regime change that will soon take place in the North. This is more likely that it is the doing of the incoming regime as a test to see if the military will follow new command. Especially when state controlled Korean Central News Agency responded Friday saying, “The situation on the Korean peninsula is inching closer to the brink of war.”
A war that neither party, including China or Japan, would invite. Seeing as China is seen as an ally to North Korea, they would be a definite thorn at the side of US support to the South. A showdown that could be devastating to the US naval fleet.

What the TSA Doesn’t Get
There is no denying that one of the hottest items of the days has become that of the intrusion of the TSA and their radiating porno-scanners and love-pat patdowns. But there is one thing that continues to be left unanswered by the TSA and others. What about those coming in from other countries? Who gropes them?
That’s the big issue. All the hub-bub here in America over the TSA doesn’t fix the fact that Americans are at danger from other countries. After all, Americans are not the ones wanting to blow up and bomb other Americans. It is them. Those from nations that house and harbor terrorists and applaud their actions.
Enough about what they don’t get, and more about what we do get.
“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.” – Abraham Lincoln
That’s right. Some are being fooled by the TSA, but not all.
There are more things wrong than there are right. It is a demonstration of how far we have moved away from the Founding Principles of freedom. It shows how much control the government has over the people.
Also, it shows that Washington elites take care of each of their own. Why is it that the head of one of the organizations spearheading the radation machines, which recieved billions of tax dollars, was a head figure with Homeland Security/TSA?
TSA Scanners Prove to be a Scam
There is no denying that the TSA made an ignorant decision to mandate full body scans in airports. But, the scam is the main thing that should be addressed.
The things that aren’t being talked about is where the real attention should be pointed. It isn’t enough that many are left feeling violated, while some 80% of Americans said they favor more thorough and intimate screening procedures in a recent survey. Security is a selling point, and that is just the agenda of the Administration and the TSA.
Now, with so many people complaining about the amount of radiation they could be exposed to is something worth looking into, what’s more interesting and worth more to look into is the amount of money contained in contractsto outfit all the airport terminals. After all, isn’t it alarming that the government is allocating millions upon millions of taxpayer funds to outfit the x-ray machines?
However, all of that doesn’t address the actual scam being conducted. The thing that nobody is addressing is that all of this security is being contained in America, not abroad. The big question is this: Why are we not scanning at all terminals internationally that would be entering into US airspace? After all, if they were so concerned for the safety of Americans, would they not focus on the inbound flights from other countries that aid and house terrorists?
But it is highly likely that the administration will not answer that question; as they look to prosper from the contracts that were issued, the money to be made from investing heavily in those companies being chosen to fulfill the contracts, and more importantly the lobbyist money to be gained.
Government-Pot-Pie
There are few things you can lean on as something that seems to have it all. Pot-pies are one, and another is the democrats way of government.
But how can you compare the two? Simple. Take a look at the ingredients.
For instance, a chicken-pot-pie has almost everything you need in a meal. It’s got meats, veggies, breads and dairies. Contrast that with what a democrat sponsored government-pot-pie has: it’s got free health care, ongoing unemployment checks, hand-outs instead of hand-ups and increased taxes.
Doesn’t that just sound wonderful?

Obama’s Disconnect
A big defining moment for any president and their administration is foreign policy. It can either make or break them. It’s impact is greater than many people give credit to. And, for the Obama administration it is proving to be a very difficult task to manage.
With the yet to be released book by Bob Woodward, Obama’s Wars, it is a telling picture as to the lack of direction, understanding and experience. Namely the quarrelling back and forth between members and even Obama, also show a lack of leadership within the administration.
The direction Obama displays for his foreign policy is shady to say least. It appears that every decision is made to foster his image. Many comments and statements point only to a ME mentality. Even when he has said that he would rather be a great one term president, saying that he wants to get out of Afghanistan quickly to so not to loose all the Democrats support say another thing.

Obama Challenges For Ideas
The time has come for Obama to get desperate. He was out giving a speech the other day and offered that those who don’t agree with him or his administration could take the time to share their ideas. If they were as good as everyone argued they were, he wanted to hear them.
So, what’s wrong with that? It shows that he is desperate for ideas. He has recognized that what he has to offer isn’t exactly working and he needs new ideas. This is all strategy by Obama and his minions.
