Iran's Regime Is an Unspeakable Evil, and These Protestors Support It

All day Saturday, we watched as the vicious theocracy of the Iranian mullahs was disassembled by American and Israeli munitions. That's an unalloyed good; Iran under the mullahs was an unspeakably evil regime. They have been brutally repressive of their own people, killing as many as 30,000 protestors who want nothing more than a free Iran. They have exported a rabid brand of Islamic terrorism around the world, being the foremost state sponsor of terrorism, providing money, weapons, equipment, and training to groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

We noted, only a few minutes before this writing, that the top dirtbag in Iran has now been un-alived. My mother used to say that when someone dies, you should say something good about that person. In the case of the Ayatollah Khamenei, I will only say, "He's dead. Good."

European Leaders Speak Out on Iran Strikes, but the Time for Talk Is Over

Here's the thing: There is no regime so horrible, no ruling despots so murderous, that some useful idiots in the United States and elsewhere in the modern world won't turn out to support them.

A coalition of organizations on Saturday have planned protests opposing the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran earlier in the day, with demonstrations planned across multiple cities.

“Trump’s unprovoked, illegal attack on Iran is an act of war that threatens to cause unthinkable death and destruction. But the people of this country reject another endless war and will take to the streets now and make our voices heard,” stated Action Coalition.

The coalition listed several emergency protests scheduled earlier in the day and into Saturday afternoon across several cities. These cities include Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City and more.

Six more protests will be held on Sunday in Albany, N.Y.; Ellensburg, Va.; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Decorah, Iowa; Gainesville, Fla.; and Springfield, Mo.

Unprovoked? Seriously? Iran has funded, trained, and equipped terrorists around the world. They have been a regional problem in the Middle East as well as a problem for the civilized world, a cognomen which Iran under the mullahs certainly does not deserve. The theocracy there is responsible for untold deaths and injuries. They pulled the strings that led to the October 7th, 2023 atrocities and massacres in Israel. The regime in Iran is soaked in the blood of the innocent, and these people are protesting - in support of this?

What in the holy you-know-what is wrong with these idiots?

Here's who they are, at least, the ones we know of:

The coalition is made up of other organizations like the Palestinian Youth Movement, the Democratic Socialists of America, Code Pink and The People’s Forum, among other activist groups.

So, a coalition of Islamist radicals, socialists, and outright commies. Wonderful. Look, these people, in the United States, enjoy the same First Amendment freedoms as the rest of us. As long as they don't impede traffic or interfere with sane people going about their business, they can wave signs and shout all they like. It's not likely to do them much good - but neither are they likely to stay within the bounds of free speech. We may well be in for another round of blocked streets and stuff thrown at cops.

But whatever these people do, it will make no difference in the end. The mullahs are going down, regardless of what a coalition of nuts has to say about it.
