Another day, another Democrat politician going completely off the rails. Now it's one Philip George, a city councilman in Highland Park, a town in western New Jersey. He's making the usual hysterical claims about ICE, but when he starts comparing them to an "invasive species," well, there he's treading on a field that some of us know more about - biology.
🚨WATCH: A New Jersey Democrat compares eliminating ICE to killing an "invasive species" of plants.

"I wish it was as easy to eliminate an invasive species like ICE as it was to eliminate bamboo," Highland Park Councilman Philip George said on Tuesday.

The post continues:
George goes on to claim ICE is "the same" as the Nazi Brownshirts, who carried out attacks on Jewish businesses, synagogues, and homes under orders from Nazi leadership.
"We have to get our damned asses out and vote simply because it will be gone by next year if we are not careful," George said.
George is also an attorney who serves as a delegate to the New Jersey State Bar Association.
I have no idea how good an attorney Mr. George is. But he's no biologist, and that's for sure and for certain.

First, let's talk about what an "invasive species" is. When an animal or plant is introduced into an area where they didn't previously exist - this can be done by humans, or it can happen naturally - they frequently cause a lot of problems for the plants and animals already in place. The existing life in an area may have difficulty dealing with a new predator. They may not be able to compete with the newcomers for food and other resources. The list of problems is long, as is the list of examples: Pythons in Florida, rabbits and cane toads in Australia, bamboo in New Jersey, and rats, well, almost everywhere.
The invasive species are, in effect, nature's illegal immigrants. That would make ICE our national immune system. ICE is not the invasive species; they are here naturally, part of the federal government, carrying out their duty in enforcing federal laws. It is the illegal aliens who are the invaders. So, Philip George has this precisely and laughably backward.
That's not the only thing Philip George gets so hilariously wrong. He also trots out the inevitable "Nazi/Brownshirt" comparison - honestly, does the national Democratic Party email off these people a script to read from every week? Where are the attacks by the right on synagogues or Jewish businesses? It's not Republicans who are the antisemites today. It's not Republicans who are taking shots at political candidates and activists from the other party. It's not Republicans who are chucking empty bottles at cops.
Mr. George, it's your side who are doing all of those things.
Philip George is right about one thing: The importance of voting. The New Jersey governor's election is in less than two weeks, and the race is narrowing, with Democrat Mikie Sherrill slowly losing ground to Republican Jack Ciattarelli. Maybe there's hope for the Garden State yet.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
