Watch As Tom Homan Rips JB Pritzker for Hating Trump More Than He Loves Chicagoans

In a panel discussion with commentator Bill O'Reilly, Border Czar Tom "The Hammer" Homan had some very pointed words for Illinois Governor JB Pritzker. Pritzker has been throwing his considerable weight around, trying everything he can to interfere with the detention and repatriation of illegal aliens in Illinois - and The Hammer puts out a very plausible reason why. Watch:

Here's what was said:

Tom Homan: President Trump's policies, whether people want to face it or not, are saving lives by the thousands. Under Joe Biden, a record number of aliens died making that journey. A record number of Americans died from fentanyl coming across that border. This administration is not only going to enforce the law, in making our streets safe again, they're saving thousands of lives.

Bill O'Reilly: Why do you think Governor Pritzker is so adamant against you and ICE? Why?

Tom Homan: Because they hate Trump more than they love the residents of Chicago.

Bill O'Reilly: Is it that simple, though?

Tom Homan: You tell me. I don't know. I think any elected mayor, any elected governor, any elected city councilperson, their responsibility is the safety of their communities. 

This is the truth; the primary role of government, any government at any level, is to protect the liberty and property of the citizens.

Pritzker Is Finding Out That the Internet Is Forever As Former Police Chief Busts Him for Deceptive Video

In this, the government of Chicago has failed in so many ways, it's hard to enumerate. Their sanctuary policies have flooded Chicago with illegal aliens, and even if we discount crimes committed by those aliens - we shouldn't, but just for the sake of argument - this still places an unbearable burden on everything from housing prices to essential city services. 

We should make no mistake about one thing: It it were Kamala Harris in the White House, issuing these exact same orders, carrying out these exact same policies, cracking down on illegal immigration, closing the border, and repatriating illegal aliens, she would be lauded by these same Democrat politicians as a great leader, for doing what's best for the American people. Of that there can be no doubt; this is the "Other Foot" principle in action. This can be applied to any such case: Think about what these same people's reactions would be, if the shoe were on the other foot, if a Democrat administration carried out exactly these policies. Chicago would be on board, Mayor Brandon Johnson would be on board, and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker would be on board.

"The Hammer" is correct in his assessment. Governor Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, and many other lower-level officials and judges - oh, we mustn't forget the judges - are acting under the influence of Level 5 Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it is the people of their communities who are paying for it.
