A Staggering Case of Arrogant Cluelessness: Hillary Clinton

Her Imperial Majesty, Hillary I, First of That Name, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua, is one of those national figures who only come long once in a lifetime. That's a fact for which the American people, the people of the world, and possibly any microbes surviving on Mars should be eternally grateful. Starting with her shady real-estate schemes in Arkansas, her amazing, miraculous run of luck on cattle futures, right on through her time as a "co-president" to her husband Bill, who really should have been named Randy, she's shown herself to be a calculator and a schemer.

The trouble is, she's not very good at either calculating or scheming. Her instincts are terrible. Her communication skills are likewise terrible. She's arrogant and abrasive. Her laugh reminds one of someone using a chainsaw to cut up a steel shed. She has the political acumen of a small chunk of feldspar, and all the personal appeal of a bad sinus infection. Combine all that with a sense of entitlement the size of the Virgo Supercluster, and you get a presidential campaign with the primary message of "It's my turn, you oafish peasants!"

On Thursday, we got another example of Her Imperial Majesty's utter cluelessness when she took to her royal X account to tout Randi Weingarten's book, "Why Fascists Fear Teachers."

While I haven't read Randi Weingarten's book, nor will I - in this case, I think we can safely judge the book by its cover - It's a safe bet that it's a less critical and less compelling read than the list of ingredients on a bottle of toilet cleaner. Weingarten is employing one of the left's favorite tactics, namely, shouting "fascist" at anyone who's to the right of Pol Pot, all the while she's happily ignorant of the fact that in a real fascist state, she wouldn't be allowed to publish any such book. And, we might note, it's probably been decades since Randi Weingarten did any actual teaching, other than her constant habit of serving as an example of "How Not to Do Things," which could be broadly defined as "educating."

I'd be inclined to post some of the funnier replies to Her Imperial Majesty's outpouring on X - but she has courageously blocked replies on her X account. We can not, after all, expect Her Imperial Highness to accept criticism from the peasantry.

Now, it's tempting to comfort ourselves with the thought that these are the outgoing cohort of the Democratic Party. But when one looks at the up-and-comers, the younger generation of Democrats - people like Zohran Mamdani, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the hateful Ilhan Omar, the clueless Pete Buttigieg - then it looks like there's a good future for anyone interested in bringing out more and more examples of Democrat cluelessness.
