'Transgender' High School Runner Blows Out Competition, Sets Records

What in the world is wrong with people, especially parents of high school girl athletes, in Oregon?

That area is baffling for many reasons. Sure, it's a deep, deep blue jurisdiction, so we expect a certain amount of lunacy. But liberals, back when there was such a thing, before they all morphed into "progressives" (progress on the road to socialism), had some semblances of sense. There were lines they wouldn't have crossed. If you could, for example, talk to the ghost of, say, New York Democrat Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan and ask him if it would be OK to let a boy compete on a high school girl's track team, he probably would think you were nuts.

The people of Portland are, in this sense, nuts. In the latest demonstration of "woke" nitwittery, a boy, one Ada Gallagher, was allowed to compete on a girls' track team. Just watch:

It didn't just happen once. This "Ada" Gallagher - a boy - won again, in a contest that wasn't remotely close. Watch:

Notice that the girls are so behind Gallagher that, in the first race, he is nearly to the finish line before any of the girls even round the last curve. Because he's a dude.

Honestly, how much more brutally obvious can this get? What more evidence do we need before these girls' parents start to pull their daughters out of these events?

This has been going on with this kid - this boy - for some time.

The same Oregon high school that came under fire last year for allowing a transgender athlete to compete against girls continues to blow away the competition one year later.

Ada Gallagher, running as a 10th-grader at McDaniel High School in Portland, finished in first place in 200M and 400M races during the 6A-1 Portland Interscholastic League Championship in 2024.

Now an 11th-grader, Gallagher was back on the track for a Portland Interscholastic League meet at the athlete's home track, where Gallagher was spotted blowing out the competition, especially in the 400M, where the athlete finished more than seven seconds better than the rest of the field.

The videos of this boy blowing away his competitors - girls - should be shown, over and over, in every blue-state capital where they are still pandering to this kind of crap.

Do we need a clearer illustration of this? Do we need more evidence that boys and men are faster, stronger, and with greater endurance than girls and women? A difference so great as to be a difference not in degree, but in kind, which is why we have sexually-segregated sports? Do we need more evidence that men have more fast-twitch muscle fibers, more cardio-pulmonary capacity, thicker bones, and a higher muscle-to-weight ratio? What evidence beyond these dismaying videos do we need? The parents, faculty, and coaches of the Portland schools seem unable to understand the data behind this, but one would think that this plain, undeniable video evidence would, at least, be convincing.

And have we even considered the young women on these teams, who are rightfully proud of what they have achieved, and how they must feel being forced to compete against what is clearly and obviously a young man? Imagine the reaction of any of these remarkable young women when viewing either of these videos.

This kid should not be awarded any championships. He should have his "records" stripped. He should be kicked off the girls' teams and told to go run against his peers - other boys. There's no other sane course of action here, but the people of Portland seem to have been behind the door when they were passing out sanity.

There's a great way to end this. It will be painful and unfair for a time, but no less unfair than what's happening now. Every girls' team that faces a team with a male member should walk off the field. Every girl on a team that has a male member should walk away. Refuse to play the game. Refuse to dignify this by participating. Refuse. Enough is enough. This may well be the only way this hideously unfair practice is ended for good.
