Most times, it's pretty hard to muster up a lot of sympathy for convicts currently serving sentences. They did something bad to get there, and prison, frankly, should not be a pleasant place. It should be unpleasant and uncomfortable; it is, after all, a punishment.
But there's a big difference between "unpleasant and uncomfortable" and "dangerous." Prisons, yes, are also frequently dangerous places, but the guards and the various corrections people involved are supposed to strive to prevent these places from being dangerous. There's a reason the Constitution prevents cruel and unusual punishments.
So, when the corrections apparatus sticks a six-foot, four-inch dude, who is a convicted sex offender, in a women's prison because he suddenly decided to claim to be a woman, that's an unforgivable breach — and the actual women inmates suffer for these idiotic woke policies. One woman inmate in particular has suffered — and she's pushing back.
A recently released Washington state woman says her former cellmate, a biological male who stands six feet, four inches tall and is a "violent, convicted sexual predator," repeatedly sexually assaulted her while she was forced to share a cell with him, according to a new lawsuit.
The 35-year-old Christopher Scott Williams, who has not changed his name but identifies as female, received a transfer to the women's prison, where the felon allegedly quickly started harassing and threatening a female cellmate, according to a federal lawsuit against the State of Washington, its Department of Corrections and several prison officials.
Let's set a couple of things straight here right at the outset:
1) This dude isn't a "biological male." For one thing, "male" and "female" are biological terms, so claiming someone is a "biological male" is an unnecessary redundancy. This is a man. Period. He has an X chromosome and a Y chromosome. He has a man's wedding tackle. He is a man. End of discussion.
2) Christopher Scott Williams, I will bet money, does not suffer from gender dysphoria. He claims to "identify" as a woman; he isn't. He is gaming the system to land himself in a woman's prison, where he will take advantage by doing precisely what he did — sexually abusing the women prisoners.
In particular, Mr. Williams assaulted his female cellmate. And now she's suing.
Referring to the defendant as "Mr. Williams" in a 13-page civil complaint, the plaintiff is accusing prison officials of depriving her of her constitutional rights, cruel and unusual punishment, and failing to acknowledge the risks of putting a "fully intact biological male" with a violent history of sex assault "in a cage" with women.
"Prison officials were well aware that allowing biological males into a female prison creates a substantially increased risk of harm to female prisoners, including intimidation, violence, and sexual assault," her lawsuit reads.
Of course, they were aware of it! Anyone with enough brains to pound sand would have been aware of it. But "woke" took precedence, in this case, over sanity; indeed, over reality.
For once, a convict's lawsuit seems to have a lot of merit. The "cruel and unusual punishment" prohibition has been abused a lot over the years, but putting a woman in a cage, night and day, with a hulking brute of a male sexual predator seems a lot like cruel and unusual punishment to me. While the details of the lawsuit are not known, we can hope that any settlement would come not from the taxpayers, but from the personal pockets of the Corrections personnel who enforce these idiotic policies.

There is nothing about this case that wouldn't have been predicted by anyone with two IQ points to rub together.
This has to stop. All this has to stop. This "woke" garbage is endangering people. It's insane. It defies reason. This Christopher Scott Williams, his protestations aside, is a man. He is gaming the system so that he may be housed with women — victims awaiting his inevitable attention. He should be housed in a prison for men. The women in women's prisons are women — and, yes, it's a sign of just how insane these policies are that it's even necessary to point that out. But the "woke" garbage policies of the State of Washington and the Department of Corrections don't seem to understand what a woman is (they could ask me — I am a biologist, unlike a certain Supreme Court justice I could name), and it's only a matter of time before idiotic ideas like this get a woman inmate seriously hurt or killed.
