Gen Z'er Audrey McNeal was a lifelong Democrat and a delegate to the Democratic National Convention (DNC) twice, in 2020 and 2024. She sounds like a pretty dedicated Democrat voter, doesn't she? One on whose vote Kamala Harris could depend?
Not anymore. Audrey McNeal went to the 2024 DNC looking for answers, and she didn't find them. She is now a Republican and will be voting for the Trump/Vance ticket.
Audrey McNeal, a 22-year-old woman who previously was a DNC delegate for both 2020 and 2024 elections, revealed on X she will be voting for the Trump-Vance ticket as she has joined the Republican Party.
“In 2020, I was elected at 18 to become one of the youngest delegates to the Democratic National Convention on behalf of my district. And in 2024, I was elected again to return to the DNC as a delegate,” McNeal said. “But this year, I’m casting my ballot for Donald Trump.”

Audrey's statement:
In 2020, I was elected at 18 to become one of the youngest delegates to the Democratic National Convention on behalf of my district. In 2024 I was elected again to return to the DNC as a delegate. But this year, I'm casting my ballot for Donald Trump. You see, after I was elected in March, which was before Joe Biden's debate, I wanted to go to the DNC because I wanted answers on free speech issues, the border, and the economy. However, after reflecting on my time at the DNC, I realized that it was no longer the party of free speech and civil liberties that it used to be. In fact, Patrick Henry once said, that the liberties of a people never were nor ever will be secure when transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them. And for the rulers of the Democratic Party elite, who installed Kamala Harris as the presidential nominee via stripping the vote of 14 million Americans including their own delegates such as myself, well that was a decision and a transaction that was concealed. And now I'm happy to say that I am officially joining the Republican Party as a Constitutional conservative.
Keep your eye on this young lady. I expect we'll be hearing more from her.

Young men, we should note, are already trending to the right of their older colleagues. They may be on the leading edge of the pendulum swing, and that's understandable; these are young men who have, since childhood, been hammered by the education establishment, told they are toxic, told they are sexist, told they have undeserved "privilege." It's no wonder they are rebelling, and it may very well be that being conservative will be the new "counterculture" of the generation just coming of age.
But Audrey McNeal's motivation is different. She sounds a lot like Tulsi Gabbard, and there's reason for that - Miss McNeal has gone in with her eyes open and seen what today's Democratic Party actually is, a top-down organization of authoritarians, of coastal elites and academics, with little concern or regard for the Constitution.
Welcome to the Republican Party, Audrey. We're delighted to have you - and we would happily welcome all of your friends who, like you, want free speech, a secure border, a robust economy, and a return to Constitutional principles.
