Interview: Alaska's Nick Begich III - About Alaska, the House, and Our Path Forward

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Nick Begich III, a Republican who is challenging incumbent Democrat Mary Peltola for Alaska's sole, at-large seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Mr. Begich is the scion of one of Alaska's oldest political families and has broken tradition with his Democrat family members by running as a conservative Republican. Nick and I discussed a variety of topics, including ranked-choice voting, the Second Amendment, taxation, the federal debt crisis, and immigration — all that and then some!
