Well, this is not the way to start the week.
Just after 11 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, on Sunday evening, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal Announced that Elon Musk would not be joining the board of directors for the company.
Elon has decided not to join our board. I sent a brief note to the company, sharing with you all here. pic.twitter.com/lfrXACavvk

This announcement comes on the heels of Musk, during the past week, engaging with his followers on Twitter on what improvements the company should make to the platform.
My colleague Nick Arama covered some of this earlier today with this piece: Prepare for the Liberal Meltdown: Elon Musk Does Some Expert Trolling of Twitter. Here is a brief sample of it…
On Saturday night, Musk had everyone talking again with changes he was teasing on Twitter — and he even poked fun at Twitter itself.
He had a poll where he proposed turning Twitter headquarters in San Francisco into a homeless shelter because no one was going in to work anyway. Twitter management had promised that people could work remotely forever, if they wanted to.
More than 91 percent voted in Musk’s Twitter poll to turn it into a homeless shelter.
Be sure to read all of Nick’s article to get the view of how much fun Elon seemed to be having offering ideas before he was to become part of the board. Obviously, something happened and now it looks like that plan is dead.
Make sure to check out my RedState bio right HERE to sound off and look for more here at RedState tomorrow as we all wait for Elon to share his version of what happened.
